Jeff
For some reason I watched my truck run cold on the highway today. I'm thinking about getting one of those grill covers for it.
jc43089
Cardboard in front of the radiator, there was a baby peeping out my grill all winter last year from an old box of diapers. Pretty classy.
Jeff
lol that's awesome. Both our diesels do this every time it gets below 5-10 degrees.
jc43089
Oh, mine is gas, but tstat isn't good. And fan clutch is seized up, I have some parts, I should have fixed it when it was warm like I've planned on for the last 3 winters... Also one of our hens hatched some chicks, just heard peeping tonight, bad timing lol. Coldest time of the year. Bassboy3313
Cardboard in front of radiator was how I drove the e21 that first winter I had it due to a faulty tstat.
straight6pwr
the e34 has been running just a tick over the blue due to a stuck t-stat for the last week or so...hopefully we can get some 30deg weather one of these weekends so I can swap it. i should try the cardboard thing in the mean time! When it runs it pours. Gotta wait for warm temps to fix Brooke's e36. Mean time she's driving the truck. Which means I get to be chauffeured around in my own vehicle. straight6pwr
don't you have a garage/space heater?

straight6pwr
well, that's just bad planning - you can't plop a project car in every available garage spot lol also, does your lady not demand her everyday car be inside the garage during the winter? better yet, why haven't you offered to put the e30 outside and let her have BOTH spots. instant relationship hero status. KaiserRolls
I'd have to store my car elsewhere for her to park inside during the winter. Basically yes, poor planning.

I don't win much in my relationship with my wife but the garage has always been mine. My argument was that I actually cared about my cars and the condition they were in. She didn't have a garage spot until we bought our own house.
jc43089
We had a one car garage in Platteville. That's where the BMW stays, warm and dry all winter. Now we have a 2 car garage so she has a spot for the Volvo. When the shop is done the BMW will move out there and I might be able to park in a garage. patsbimmer1
I became unexplainably upset by an oversight in Narcos. Right before Pablo goes into prison he's visited by a women who arrives in an e39... this was 1990-1991! The e39 didn't fucking exist!
