m42b32 Posted August 24, 2018 Report Share Posted August 24, 2018 My girlfriend (not wife, also an important factor) has a similar opinion on wagons, the way I was able to sell the idea was to only drive 'crappy old cars' that are lowered and loud, have no AC, and are generally impractical and terrible for long road trips. E34 and E60 M5 tourings were a thing in Europe but not sure why they didn't continue competing for E63 AMG wagons. Apparently the wagon made quite an impact on him because he insisted they drive the xc70 as well.
