CMart
Thanks. Not sure why the potato quality happened. Need to go pick up a go pro I guess.
wasnt m3
Go Pro's cost nearly the same as a set of rear tires....priorities haha

CMart
Go Pro's cost nearly the same as a set of rear tires....priorities haha Need one eventually. Might as well be now. Great work!!!!! Stoked to see this thing Thanks! Don't think I am going to make it tomorrow. It was fun for a short drive, but still far from steetable. I'm happy its running well. Going to rip it all apart again and get the coilovers, BBK, weld in reinforcements, and hopefully a cage in there.
CMart
Picked this up as a just in case motor. Then I thought, why not throw some nitrous at the current. Then after getting it on the stand I couldn't help but think, why not build some turbo manifolds? Not sure what to do yet, but I'm sure it will be fun. CMart
I was thinking something much simpler. Log style.I will more likely than not go nitrous for simplicity sake.
CMart
Got the coils off the other car today. Need to wait for the BBK adapter to show up before I try to install on the coupe, but already curious how I am going to get these dialed in between height and spring rate. KaiserRolls
Put them on. Let car settle. Adjust. Repeat as necessary
KaiserRolls
Are you swapping stuff from the coupe back to the vert? (suspension wise)
CMart
Yeah. I had a nice koni/bilstein/H&R setup for the coupe so I sold that and the vert is getting the oem stuff.
straight6pwr
turbo m60 is a tough gig, but has been done. the compression of the motors make it hard to run high boost, fyi. but the stock motor can handle the low boost no problems. forged crank! don't think it is even possible to due twin turbo, though. CMart
Twin and single are both doable. Just took the car out for what will most likely be the last ride of the year before dismantling.

CMart
Still a little wet so many traction was nowhere to be found. May take it out in the morning with a buddy who is in town and get better pictures/videos.
CMart
I never thought I would say this... But this car is for sale. I plan on actually selling it in the spring after I rebuild it this winter so it is turn key for the next owner. Not sure on pricing yet as I need to do some research. There was an M60 car that was junk that sold for 10 will be asking North of that. Why you may ask?
m42b32
You bought an M3???

CMart
Yep, bought an 88 M3. Was in an accident in 05, but not totaled or anything and has been properly repaired. Fenders are white because they are evo3 fenders that haven't been painted yet.Previous owner did a lot of work to this car to get it where it is. I'm excited to pick up where he left off and show this car some track days next year.
Boris3
Congrats! Just curious what the entry price was for yours given that e30 m3 in good shape are going for $25-35k
CMart
This car is a non-running project at this point. The work that has been done to it is top notch, but still needs some mechanical/wiring/paint. I think the seller and I both walked away happy. straight6pwr
you must have big plans, or the m3 must already have a big motor.
