Bassboy3313
I've never seen a bass guitar With live wells, so makes sense that your question was confusing. Carry on! REKIII

Earl
Still waiting on the rest of the column parts to arrive so I can put it back in. The gas tank is cleaned and ready to be put back together. I need to order all of the lines and gaskets yet. I also need to clean up under the car and undercoat that section. Earl
Been working on little things the past two days. I "rebuilt" the throttle pedal assembly. Everything is brand new besides the lever itself. My old pedal return spring was snapped and not doing anything. I don't recall the pedal ever feeling bad so I was surprised to see that. Old New I also got pads for the brake and clutch pedals The steering column is also back in the car now. I placed an order for the fuel lines above the tank and need to start wire wheeling and undercoating the tank area under the car.
B C
The dust and cobwebs were applied from the factory for lubrication. You will need to get another packet of dust and cobwebs for the new one.
Earl
Is this something that would benefit with a spray of white lithium grease? I also wondered the same for the retention spring on the steering column. I also figured it may fight off oxidation=)
REKIII
I don't think the lithium grease would hurt it.

REKIII
It's going to suck getting the dash on around the steering wheel.
Earl
lol The column cover needs to come back off at that point too to remove the stalks. I can get the dash in and out in under a half hour at this point so I'm not worried=) REKIII
Earl
I have been really busy planning a GTG and what not lately but figured I would post some pictures of a few things to keep things lively in here If you can't buy it, make it (new one is stainless) I cleaned and painted the rear bumper carrier as well as the mounting brackets (and installed OEM hardware)
Earl
Finally scored a missing piece of the puzzle: Racing Dynamics Non M lip Unfortunately I wasn unaware that the lip is slightly different between the two non M bumper styles so I will have to make some reliefs in the top of the lip to fit around parts of the bumper vents. The good thing is that the lip isn't perfect and needs some fixing anyways. You can see the small semi-circle reliefs now that are for fitting around the vertical slats in the wide slat style non m bumper. Those will be filled in as well. jc43089
Looks sharp, I like that. Good call on something besides just putting M bumpers on everything. Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk

Earl
I never posted these pictures from around early August because I had planned to start working on the car on a regular basis again. Obviously that didn't happen haha Replaced the crusty nuts for the front of my rear subframe. I'm not sure why I didn't order these and replace them the first time I redid the rear subframe. I had noticed that the stainless hardware on my diff had corroded when I used the KBS Rust Seal chemicals to prep the diff to be sealed. Instead of polishing them and leaving the wave washers I had initially used, I thought it would look a little nicer with some beauty washers. I bought new bolts again and ordered more washers from Downstar. Before After I figured it only made sense to mount the brake master with some as well. The most recent work I did was cleaning up the fuel tank access areas under the rear seat. There was light rust around the openings and plastic captive nuts so I wired them down to bare metal and primed them for now. Once I clean up the underside and redo the undercoat there, I will spray down the semi-gloss. I'm hoping to start putzing again on it soon so that I can get an idea on when I want to actually get it all together and maybe to a somewhat "done" stage ThatRatRodProject
