DrLeadFoot
All new everythingRigged upTorqued to 74 ft/lbs. UPS should be delivering the SS slave cylinder line today. I'll get that installed and bleed the system. Tomorrow the DSSR should be here. More than likely will have to sand down the selector to make it work. After that all I'll have to do is:- Drive shaft- Diff and axel- Change oil- Turbo gasket- Cut the tial BOV spring a little- Shifter gasket thing, boot and ZHP knob

DrLeadFoot
Back in the garage...Took the red/blk wire loop out of the door connector by splicing it out. Once I connected the wires something clicked in the central locking unit or interior light module. Good sign??This might be the problem. Central Locking Unit.Turned my attention to the stereo system.Got a new sub amp. 600w Kenwood to replace my old 500w Alpine. Also got new 3 new Stinger RC cables and routed them on the drivers side hopefully to eliminate the whining that matches the RPMs when they vary.Headed back into the bimmer cave now! DrLeadFoot
Hooked up,the new amp and nada. Took the speaker out and tested the two coils. 2ohms a piece. First one looks good. Second one not so much. Sorry for the iPad pics. Camera battery died. Other things I got done. - Tried to bleed the slave but the pedal doesn't feel right. It doesn't sit on the floor when pressed. It's spongie feel to it. I'm using an e36 m3 slave. Any tips? Also was using a vacuum pump on the slave bleeder while having my fiancée pump and hold the pedal. - Cut a ring out of my BOV. I'll order the replacement springs tomorrow but there is no rush. The yellow spring was in there from Tial. - Replaced the passenger side fog light. The old one had a crack in it. - Cleaned up a bit. DrLeadFoot
I forgot to mention that I found my Valentine 1 radar detector! Super pumped about that. Update of the to do list: - Turbo T3 gasket (hopefully it will get delivered tomorrow). - Attach oil drain hose from turbo. - Add fluid to the diff and install. - Change oil. - Go over intercooler piping t-clamps to check for loose ones. - Swap trunk lids. - Take off roof rack. - Wash, wax and windows. The only thing I'm worried about is the clutch bleeding. Pedal still feels a bit soft.

DrLeadFoot
I envy your ability to make such fast progress. I'm trying to fly through everything while doing it right. Everything that I can get a torque wrench on is tightened to spec, blue loc-tite is almost everywhere and new parts are being used 75% of the time. I best finish soon as my hands have cuts all over them and the mechanic hand look is in full effect. Kinda sketch when I'm in a suit showing prospective buyers houses... andyhundley
Can you take some better pics of the rear M3 seat fitment? Ive always been curious how they fit.
wasnt m3
All e30 coupe chassis are the same, aren't they? I don't see why an e30 m3 rear seat would fit a 325 any different. DrLeadFoot
DrLeadFoot
Got the ECS T3 solid gasket in the mail from @Frank_Mopar!Installed it with some copper RTV.Had to track down the Snap-On dealer to get a male 14mm allen socket for the differential fill hole. Picked this up too and it's the bee's knees. The 14mm allen lead to this. Please don't judge my washers:dontknow:The subframe diff mounting hardware. 16mm bolts and thick washers from a M-coupe if I remember correctly.Which lead to this.Oil change.I drained my crank case catch can that draws vacuum from the exhaust. Nasty...Who wants to clean this up?!!?Some more pics of the e30 M3 rear seat.Washed off the garage.Goodnight. B C
