  1. It just started doing that once I installed the Avant head unit. No clue! Lol
  2. That's about right! I felt like I haven't really driven it too much until the last month. Lots of lake country showings!
  3. Oil and filter change. LM 10w60 & mann filter. Added some new pilot sports 4S in the rears mid summer. Put a lot of miles in this thing while the wagon was under the knife. Love this car!!
  4. Oil & filter change. 10w-60 Liqui Moly & Mann Filter. Installed: Repaired sunroof with new OEM rebuild kit. Black suede headliner, a, b, & c pillars. Black Nappa leather m5 front seats, front cards, lower dash and center console. Black carpet. Still need some grey items swapped to Black but getting there. Endless Detailing polished the turd up today! I'm loving it!
  5. The rack doctor steering rack we replaced in 2018 blew its seals and was leaking badly. Utilized their lifetime warranty and got a new one. Did an oil and filter change as well as a fuel pump; fuel filter and regulator. Added e46 M3 RTABs also. All OEM BMW.
  6. It's been a while! The wagon has been clocking the miles like a champ all summer. The front diff mount reinforcement has been on the radar for a minute and with the stars aligning with my schedule I pulled the trigger. Mike has done all of it solo as real estate is booming and my free time is spent with the family. The list: -M5 subframe bushings, dinan front diff reinforcement kit, powder coated subframe gloss black, all new bushings, new lower control arms (left is on back order from Germany), M5 ladder bars powder coated gloss black.
  7. The T56 that I had in the car started popping out of 3rd gear & reverse and grinding going into 3rd. Time for a new trans! RPM transmission level VI was ordered and, while I'm in there, I popped in a Monster dual clutch in case I wanted to add more power. Should be good up to 700hp/to. Also got a bolt in roll cage from Mitch. (Thanks for delivery relay, Mitch & TJ!) Powder coated it gloss black and bolted it in. Nitto NT01 rear tires mounted as well. 255s.
  8. A couple new pieces for the M3!
  9. New horns!!! Sounds like a Ferrari now.
  10. New summer set up! Continental Extremecontact Sport XL tires. 18" 225/40 front, 255/35 rear.
  11. Replaced the tailgate brake lights with some new OEM pieces. Such a huge difference!!
  12. Squeaks and thuds/rattling until they warm up and quiet down. The recurring maintenance to grease them is what I'm not excited about. Back to stock but will clock them correctly for the lowered suspension.
  13. 2 of the most recent customers to eat at Gapplebees.
  14. Summer wheels on! She has been running great! Need to get it to Mike's to do the rear subframe & diff bushings after we move to our new house on April 24th. Will also get the diff mount welded to reinforce it. Would love to get the rear subframe powder coated as well.
  15. New summer wheels to come! Bought these from Kerry and he was nice enough to get them powder coated. The 4-door is going to look like a 90s Pontiac with the color matched wheels.
  16. Been out of storage for about a tank of gas. The battery had power but not enough to crank. A quick jump and on the road again! Need some new rear tires and to go back to stock RTABs. The polys are too noisy for me. We are using the wagon for wagon things and swapped the kiddos seats into the m3. A rear facing baby seat in a coupe is forced yoga. Lol
  17. Chipped away at some things. Mike got the PS line replaced, m5 A pillars, black leather ebrake cable boot, new high intensity washer fluid container, washer fluid hoses, refurbished abs module, black front seat belts, and new wipers.
  18. It's a leak detection spray. Drys into a baby powder substance. Washes off easy. Pretty sweet!
  19. Had a slight shimmy in the brakes so I had Mike replace the rotors and the pads. Went with Zimmerman rotors and OEM BMW pads. Scooped up a used M wheel with the updated airbag! Excited! Got a power steering line leak so we'll be replacing that early next week. Also replaced the dash lights, added the dimmer wire to my radio so the backlight on the keys works, replaced a bad O2 sensor under warranty, put new rubber mounts on the oil filter, added some leather interior bits: -steering column surround -upper & lower B pillars -center console arm rest. Slowly chipping away!
  20. 110 octane!! The smell alone is worth the lead poisoning.
  21. Oil & filter change at 196,172 miles (M5 cluster). 10w-60 Liqui Moly & Mann Filter.
  22. Not sure on stiffness but the M5 bushings are a tad shorter and allow for the reinforcement trailing bars to be installed.
