  1. 205,XXX miles -Airbag light fixed. -New oem BMW 325xi rear springs installed. Monster truck status renewed! -ebrake is back up and running.
  2. Took the "Four Door" back to Mike's to have him pop on some braided brake lines, fix the pass. side seat belt tensioner that is throwing an airbag light and install the ebrake hardware that I forgot to get. Needed the 330i shoes. We both forgot that the hardliners for the brakes were pretty rusty. Almost all hardlines replaced! He went around the fuel tank, with my blessing, to cut the labor time in half. (The wagon will get the tank out line replacement soon!) He also found the vacuum line on the fuel filter was rotted off. Better MPGs here I come!
  3. 205,XXX miles: -New OEM BMW valve cover gasket. The old one wasn't bad but seeping a little on the front by the vanos. -Replaced the heater valve thingy to get the heat to work! Yay winter! -Installed a good used condition mirror that I painted and clear coated with the Napa paint matched rattle can. Turned out okay! Need to get 2 new front CV boots as the ones I feel like I just replaced are leaking from the clamp cutting into the rubber. Also need to install braided brake lines and fix the airbag seatbelt tensioner to get the warning light off.
  4. Wife got some warning lamps. I just used PA Soft 1.4 to switch them to xenon. Hopefully this works!
  5. Thanks! I like this car! This is the wife's car and she likes it a lot too. I'm at a crossroads with it to start doing body work or swap all this car's AWD & other goodness into a e46 wagon and rebuild a m54b30 to pop in. Then keep up with the bodywork on a wagon. I justed asked the guy to include the bulbs and he did. Lol. Let me know what you get!
  6. Popped in some used OEM xenon headlights! I've been wanting these for awhile and picked them up for a good price. They plugged right it and fired up. No coding needed as of yet!
  7. Warren, RI. Had to stop for the pics and excavator.
  8. Just on the computer. 19.6 mpg. Hopefully the roof rack is holding the number down. I'll get the calculator out for the way back.
  9. Took the wagon to the East Coast with the family to visit the fam!! More pics to come. Wagon is doing great!
  10. This in due time. Leather dash when the blower motor goes! Lol I have some rattles in the roof and will be popping a new tailgate in probably after this winter so the headliner will be coming out. The fabric is sagging a little here and there after getting it cleaned. Black suede, Son!!!
  11. Mike's bench! Lol Slowly blacking out the headliner. Long way to go. Black leather visors, lights and handles.
  12. Drove it for the first time with the new windshield today. Such a great feeling!!!
  13. Dropped off the Wagon at Mike's and he has been chipping away. We're replacing the water pump, thermostat, and coolant orings/pipes under the intake manifold just to do them. Taking the family on a road trip out east and wanted to take as many variables out of the stranded on the roadside equation that I could. I've been getting a DTML code and Mike found that the 540it pumpkins leaking donwe will be replacing that as well. SO CLOSE TO BEING PERFECT! New cyclone separator return lines in! Got new OEM damper bolts coming due to removing the damper to get at the lower water pump bolt.
  14. Update! The wagon has been running great! I've been chipping away at some minor coding things here and there. Turned some wrenches last night at Mike's house and added the updated nitrogen charged oil accumulator. This one has a valve that locks in oil pressure when the car shuts down and on start up it immediately throws pressurized oil into the vanos units to stop the 12v Cummins Diesel sounds. Had to run a signal wire to the DME (Pin 8 on the module 2 connector) and splice into a ground crimp. My DME was apparently one from a newer M5 with this option as I was getting a accumulator error code. No coding necessary! Thank goodness!! Did an oil/filter change (181000 on 540i cluster) after buttoning everything up and it was clattering for a second then ran quiet as a mouse! I'm wondering if the old accumulator lost its pressure. Replaced the cracked fuel pressure vaccum hose under the intake. Noticed both my cyclone separator return lines are totally mush and cracking so I will be replacing those next week and doing a thermostat and possible water pump as a while I'm in there approach.
  15. This! I did not have the right tool. Holy hell it was a pain! If I used the original gasket it would have been a lot easier. Previous owner did an antenna delete and popped the M3 one on. Love the look!
  16. I finally got my OEM BMW windshield installed. It has been in my basement for 4+ years. New gasket and black center trim. I tried to do it myself and hit a brick wall. Mark the Glass Man came to my house and finished it off and filled in a stone chip on the wagon.
  17. The video! E30 & Wagon content.
  18. An old buddy of mine, Jon (@thic_f30), was in town and took a bunch of pics and videos. He drove the wagon and I was in the E30. Video footage coming soon!
  19. New, new pump threw an Inactive Suspension code. Popped on my computer with INPA and the pump would not work when I tried to activate it. Took it apart and found one of the three bolts holding the pump up in the metal dome fell off as well as a popped fuse. Replaced the fuse and tightened up all the bolts and INPA tested it again and it worked. I messed around with the ride height tuning feature of INPA and will have to zero it in a couple of mm. Place your bets on how long until the next air suspension code/problem! I'm going to say 2 weeks. An old buddy of mine, Jon (@thic_f30), was in town and took a bunch of pics and videos. He drove the wagon and I was in the E30. A grand time, and a lot of 3rd gear pulls, were had.
  20. Mike swapped lines and the leak switched sides. The 3rd Doorman pump is on it's way. Thank goodness for a lifetime warranty. I also have the BMW 1.4 scanner & software coming to recode the M5 cluster to the 540i VIN so I can hopefully code the rest of the IKE.
