I'm conflicted. 

.0015 is practically nothing, but I get your concern. 

I would give it a pass with 600 grit to see if any high and low spots show themselves and go from there I guess. 

I can confirm that the  head gasket that you and I use squishes a lot, so it should have no issue with a .0015 variance 

Okay. Maybe I'll do that. Save my arms!!

-Car on jack stands

-Took Echo gas powered 191mph leaf blower and cleared underneath the car after removing oily cardboard

-Move some other boxes around

-Almost started doing the diff swap

-Left garage

A little progress was made. I'll update with pics tomorrow.

- Head is torqued down to 35 ft/lbs. I'll recheck and go to 65 ft/lbs if they hold at 35 for the night.

- Intake manifold is tapped and drilled for multi-port meth injection.

- Mounted the distribution block and ran the 6 lines to the jet fittings.

- Broke one jet from over tightening it. Sometimes I'd like not to learn anything new...

- Picked up my diff cover and output shafts from Snap. I'm planning on getting the new diff in tomorrow morning.
