B C
Transfer case rebuild on an e30 ix seems to be the of the "not if, but when" sort of thing A guy on r3v has an M54 swapped 325ix using E34 drivetrain bits

It must have been so messy there with all the non-laminated glass windows and glass headlight lenses shattering.
HipMF
yeah, wierd that the cars with skinny little tires are the ones rolling over. you wouldn't even think they would have enough traction... super soft suspension ftl. a time when seat belts were an option as opposed to standard epuiment, if you could get them at all... scary. B C
Only experience with that was peering into a porsche 912 and being baffled that it didnt have seatbelts. I ended up dying
HipMF
Acts like e21 5-speed manual is hard (it just bolts in as far as I know...) but the speedometer still doesn't work, which it should, because they're both mechanical drive... m42b32
^ That series is the best thing /DRIVE has done in a long time, and not just because it features an e30 Earl

B C
The first rendition of the R35 GTR did a blistering 7:35, that is kind of my mental benchmark. Scary thing is the new Civic Type-R does a 7:43 iirc 7:25 in the E36 is hauling properly. Driver definitely knows the track well

Earl
Just watched it. It either sounds like the sidewall on his rear quarters or the tires buzzing his front fender liners. I am leaning more towards the rear as it resonated through the inside of the car and he definitely has a rear seat delete.
