GunMetalGrey got a reaction from suspenceful in Hello. My name is Dan, and today I doomsday prepped
Yeah, you need to make sure that it's actually overheating and not just the cluster. Chances are it's not actually overheating. Did you check the temp with a gun yet to make sure it's overheating? Because it may be a loose nut on the cluster. Did you verify the temp yet? I would probably hit it with a temp gun to ensure that it's actually overheating.

Got it running today, with minimal resistance.
Now to get the coolant expansion tank in place and do some driving!

10.5" tall, including cap, not including lower connection and level sensor, 3.375 inches wide, 2.375 inches deep. The outer edge sits flush with the upper frame rail seam, and the bottom of the tank is 1" above the top of the seam.
Hope that helps!

I would love to take a grinder and body saw to the chassis of something of this nature.
Hey Jake.... I just got some new blades and grinding wheels..... Can I test them out?

If you don't have the timing tools you can check that the squares are straight with a straight metal ruler as well.

Yeah, Thats what I am thinking too, and it seems like the mass majority agrees. Ughh more welding :|
Hell yeah you can. We will have to strap a couch up there first though so you have a place to sit. With a newspaper and cup of tea in hand, you will be the perfect candidate.

I'm confused, I thought that was the only thing that you could do to an e36?

This isn't my work, but @Jdesign was in my neck of the woods yesterday and found the illusive m5!
Looks like the new owner took to driving it instead of storing it!
