Earl
Thanks Robert=) I haven't seen you around town lately at all. Two more crappy instagram pictures=D Going away for winter and under the knife shortly
REKIII
I'm still around, driving the truck. Car is up in Green Bay getting torn down for modification.I like the new pics. A straight on side shot shows the ride height good, but shows how the front is tucked beyond centerline a bit far, I recommend keep to 3/4 shots. Earl
Are you saying it is raked? Sure is=) lol Its super hard to get the ass down on a Ti. I need shorter springs and tall RSM's. I have a treat in store for winter hopefully that will get that tail down. The front looks goofy in the side pic because there is a big dip in the road in front of me, making my bumper look higher. Brian.
should have parked in that dip! Get super lows!
REKIII
I meant that the wheel center point is way abve the center point of the arc the fender/bumper hole makes, so you get a large empty spot between the lower part of the tire and the front bumper. Not a bad thing, just one of those weird things excentuated by the angle of the photo.

Earl
Saw some flurries yesterday and decided it was time to change out my wheels, and raise it a bit, until I get my beater insured. Last picture with this setup: And now: Looks so gross=( Can't wait for what is in store though.
REKIII
Yup, those wheels and stance look kinda dorky. Get the beater insured so you can put your baby away!
Earl
Put it away and tear it apart:D Motor coming out is one of the first things happening so I can get a jump on tucking and shaving the bay. I need to peel all of this plastidip off too.
Ryan...
Lovin the new wheels
Brian.
Love your winter set up! LOL, Just in time for snow too! I'm rocking my 3 piece wheels all winter I suppose. Oh well!
Earl
I won't even be rocking the car this winter=D lol MK3 Golf will be doing that duty.
Brian.
lol, cutie. Ever watch that video I sent you? LOL
Earl
Never updated here=P Here was the last update: The car has been in storage for about a week and a half. Not enjoying driving my MK3 instead of it daily=P Wheels still havent sold, which prolongs the process of me refinishing the next set. I will not say what the next set is, but I'm either keeping them 9" front and 10" rear, or going to 10" front and 11" rear. I like the later option better=D Here are some pictures of my style 5's up for grabs. And now the current update. Finally got it pulled into the shop to tear down. Motor will come out shortly. Started doing some peeling action with the GF. Also picking up a MOMO hub adapter tomorrow so I can throw the Grip Royal on for pictures before I tear out the interior. REKIII
That does not look fun.
Earl
Not much at all. However, the girlfriend was thouroughly enjoying it, and got most of that done herself=)
Earl
I finally installed my Grip Royal and ashtray on saturday but couldn't get good enough lighting for a nice picture of it. I also peeled all of the plastidip, besides the bumpers. Then I started to get ready to shave, tuck, and rip out the lump=) More updates will come after Saturday. Hopefully the motor will be out, or the strut towers will be shaved from the strut mount forward.
Brian.
Looking goood!
Earl
I labelled the harness and removed a few more things Saturday, since no one could come help me yank it out. Also got a really crappy picture of my interior. I made it black and white because the picture made the wood look very bright, when it is a pretty deep cherry color. GunMetalGrey
What motor is going in there?Sent from the future. Or my phone, who knows.
Earl
The M42 is going back in=) Just freshened up with new gaskets, COP setup, and some schnazy paint.
wasnt m3
Please tell me you're not gonna do anything stupid with the engine bay like some bright color or metal flake. I know your VW buddies would think it's cool, but trust me you'd regret it
Earl
It'll go back to a nice shade of simple black;) This is just going to be a subtle looking, cleanly modded Ti;) It won't be quick, but it'll look good. At least that's what I'm going for
Earl
Thank you=) I stumbled upon this picture the other day. Someone took it while I was attending Eurowerks 6. This was the day after I sprayed on the plastidip. I wish I would have just cut bump stop then and been as low as I currently was. I also stumbled upon another that I will upload afterwhile.
