Bassboy3313
Ordered some misc parts and everything to refresh the shifter. Installed the last of the head seals/gaskets. Also installed the oil baffle plate and started drilling the hole in the pan for turbo oil drain fitting.
Rowleym
Drill the block! lots of meat and its already out of the car. Works really nice. Unless you have a tig welder?
Bassboy3313
Too late. Already drilled the hole in pan and secured the thru-wall sealing fitting. Got the wire in the o-ring grooves, which turned out to be pretty tedious getting the wire ends filed down and touching. Installed the first oil pan gasket with crank scraper as well as oil pump. Finished up with the second gasket and the pan. What a huge PITA to install the pan bolts with two gaskets, crank scraper and pan to line up! Time to take the triumph out for its first ride of the season before the Wisconsin game! DrLeadFoot
Bassboy3313
Got the ARP head studs installed in the block with head gasket placed. Torqued the cam sprocket, set head and block to TDC and installed head on block. Torqued to spec.
