Bassboy3313
Finished prepping, rust sealing (with KBS) and laid the first coat of paint down on the engine bay. Also powder coated the intake manifold. Still need to sand the BMW logo and stripes back out. HipMF

YoungCR
What are the plans for spraying the engine bay? DIY?
Bassboy3313
Just a diy with duplicolor bed liner. Not looking for anything show quality. Just wanted something durable and the whole bay rust free and one color. The duplicolor is smoother and isn't as texture as other bedliners so it works well. Bassboy3313
Finished up the engine bay yesterday. Powder coated more parts and reassembled the alternator. I'm just waiting in the outer case bolts to show up in the mail and it will be all done.
Bassboy3313
Turns out pelican would have to get the bolts from Germany which would take forever. I got my money back and will try to salvage the bolts off my old alternator with a lot of pb blaster. Otherwise, off to mcbastard I go! wasnt m3
There's a rust penetrant called Mouse Milk that is used in the aviation industry. Hands down the best product I've ever used for freeing rusty bolts.

Bassboy3313
New addition to the parts stash just arrived from the UK. E21 motorsport rear spoiler. Not easy to come by, so I'm super psyched about it. jc43089
