Let's not be fooled by the house.  She probably took the pictures after dropping off some Amazon packages for her holiday side gig.

selling your car on consignment is not much different from buying a car from a used car lot - you gotta deal with the damn salesmen. that business just attracts those lie-though-their-teeth kinda guys, no matter which end you are on.
    wish you had better luck.

After those pictures it went on consignment at Gateway Classic Cars Milwaukee location (which is actually in Kenosha, but whatever).  The guys there shit when they saw it, Ruben and his crew did that good a job on it.
It sold within three weeks for more than I originally expected out of it, despite their poor pictures and relatively poor description.  Seeing as they tack their commission on top, they must have gotten a lot for it.  Well, a lot for an e21, borderline e30 money.  The car is being shipped to California, at least that's what they told me.
It kind of sucks I had to sell that car, but it was a poor choice from the beginning.  I should have bought a less nice one with more miles so I wouldn't be afraid to drive it.

Nothing exciting. I will miss the Infiniti because it has a lot of cool features and has treated me well but I have to face the fact that my 3 vehicles are all the same age and the demands on my time continue to increase (not a bad thing though as my life satisfaction is also continuing to increase). I simply dont want to be maintaining 3 older higher mileage cars at the same time. I have had a dick of a time just trying to make time to swap brake pads on the M3 after the track day last week.
When I offered to get my wife a new van/SUV she declined. So I’m taking the opportunity to get something newer for myself that I can become emotionally detached from and thus free up some time and love that can be spent on the M3.
Of all the cars I have previously owned, I miss my green base model 1993 camry most.
The overwhelming drabness, mediocrity, and lack of worry about that car was immensely satisfying and the perfect antithesis to my automotive enthusiasm.

    SHE’S ON THE ROAD AGAIN!!
Well, it’s been since 1998, but the old girl is back on the road under her own power.
Amazingly, she drives better than I thought!  Goes down the road straight, and most things seem to be working as they should.  It’s easy to tell the suspension bushings, and tie rod ends are cooked.
20 miles so far, and looking forward to many more.😁

Why would you say 80% of cars don't sell?  A high bidders credit card is charged for the buyers premium at the close of auction and is non refundable so it costs quite a bit of money to flake out.  In the case of a high bidder going to look at a car and then bailing out the only reason I can see that would happen is if the car has problems and is not as described and it would be cheaper to lose the buyers premium and walk away.
I will say that I was disappointed that they trimmed my description down and turned it into "BAT style" which caused a lot of information to be only in the comments and people may or may not scroll through all of the comments so there are tons of repeated questions about stuff that should have been in the description.  My buyer showed up with cash, was pleased and drove away so I was happy.

It also appears the strut tower brace has broken and been duct taped back together.

Hopefully it hasn’t been kept outside too long. Really like the green color.
