Subframe completely junk, salvage title and a none running engine in pieces.....seems like a easy pass for me.

He still didnt take our advice and lower the price. Dont think his FS ad is going to matter is he is still asking 9 or 10k. He should be asking 8500 and take anything above 7k

Considering kbb is mid/upper 8s and people usually pay under Kelly's blue book for a vehicle that isnt special aka M car or such. Also this being only 2wd and can pick these up at dealer auctions for 6k with close to same mileage I'd say that's your issue.

You will need to tow it to concours and have them bleed the system along with the clutch adaptation as you installed a new clutch. If the smg isn't in neutral it won't start. Also the hood needs to be closed or it won't start either.

tsweers89 got a reaction from i_love_cars in 135i build thread. I'm done hobcobbling posts together
As much as I'm thankful you didn't have kumrow do the work. Doing it in your garage without a lift will be so much of a pain in the ass. Dropping the subframe is really needed to get in there. But good luck to you. We just installed a pair of Hexon r550s in a e90 335i and long with motiv port injection. The power is insane even at only 15psi.

Usually o-ring and MLS isn't recommended as it's a metal layered gasket. O-ring and factory gasket is what people do it O-ringing. Do you know how much you would be milling down? With low compression pistons MLS usually isn't needed. Unless you think your going to be increasing the compression that much which I wouldn't think the issue would be. Eitherway run e85 and you won't have an issue. If you think your pistons or rods have issues send them out to get analized. They can tell you with doing an xray on them. Better be safe then sorry.

tsweers89 got a reaction from i_love_cars in i may have to buy an M2
This was my thought on buying one. Now that I know that I will be switching to getting on the list for a m4 gts. That for sure will make money if I can still get on the list for only $10k over msrp. -

Grab a straight edge and check. Also post up on bimmerforums FI section asking for help prepping the block. Many different methods. May be a better method for the cut ring.

Replace the pump. Filter and relay. End of story. On to the next cappy part that is going to fail on a e30. If they have never been replaced under your ownership why not do it for peace of mind anyways?

Please don't listen to anyone here that says its bad. Its stock feel as it has 2 clutch discs so doesnt need as much clamping force to achieve the same thing your south bend would. I have driven a 673whp m52 e34 with one and could a very slight difference. Go to bimmerforumns were people actually have experince with them not here were its all here say. John I know all the secrets let me know if you need anyother info. Haha
