Clever oil cooler mounting.
What is the plan for the tune? Remote dyno tune or an off the shelf tune?

Good man! Cutouts are very under-utilized.
loud is not always good.

Thats a healthy M50B57 swap
Wait, are those tires smoking yellow? What kind of gender reveal video did I just witness!?!?

I wanted to see what the exhaust actually sounds like since induction and other cool mechanical engine noises make it hard to hear:
I didn’t do it for Dale, I did it for science.
Is the sound intoxicating? No.
is it raspy? Yes.
is it all bad? No. I find the sound to be unique and interesting. It is exotic in the way Joe Exotic is. I am content and have no plans to make it louder. If I heard it all the time I might change my mind about it.

Awesome!! That will be an excellent daily (not that it isn't already). I'm happy to help if you need any M54/ms43 assistance!
I know what needs to be done, but I have never actually used WinFKP so between the 3 of is im sure some kind of tune file will end up on some module- m42b32 and Bassboy3313

Plot twist: Mr. Whiskers was mastermind of the operation and everything is going to plan.

well it has finally set in that my 335 is gone and the 528 is just not doing it for me. Now to decide on a "project car" or a new daily that is a little more fun
Spoiler alert: nothing ever fully itches the scratch. The N54/N55 torque delivery can ruin your expectations for anything that isnt a V8/turbo 6. I say LS swap an E36. -
You will earn an honorary degree from the New Berlin Institute of Black BMWs if you can get a 3D model of a McBastard bag. They have a 3D model of everything else.....

This seems reasonable, looks to be a late 2003 which is good. Early 2003 and older S54 have a different connecting rod/rod bearing/rod bolt design which is more prone to sudden failure rather than just wearing out and needing replacement every 100k like the 2003.5+ rod bearings do. This one would be due for a fresh set of bearings based on cautious maintenance practices as oil analysis can only show wear trends, not actual bearing status. The owner of EAG told me he won't even touch early E46 M3s because the rod bearings fail even after replacement.
11k would be a great deal.

I only just saw this thread/the video. That is awesome and I think you should leave it 😆😆
