I spend about 0% of my day utilizing Facebook right now so actively participating in ANY group on Facebook is unlikely.  I will be working with a few of those guys and everyone I met at the office was really nice and professional.  It seems like a great environment to work in and i'm pretty excited!

Are you going to be at the Appleton office then?

When you need a supply chain planner/buyer, give me a shout.

  2. Don’t know if anyone else here likes golfing, but I love golf. Not great at it, but usually shoot around mid 40s for 9. Been sharing my dads old iron set with my brother for awhile and decided to just get my own to get my own full set of clubs(had my own driver, wedges, putter).

Went with Callaway Preowned’s as I don’t need a $1000+ set of Mizuno’s or Titleist’s for my skill level. Purchased the Callaway XR’s in 5-PW in average condition, but received the XR Pro’s. Not complaining about a free upgrade.

Felt so good coming off the club when making contact, loving them so far. Birdied the first hole last night with a little 15 foot put. But proceeded to play as usual afterwards lol

Random question, are any of the GT40 style cars that race during the vintage weekend authentic originals? I have no idea how the world of vintage GT40's works but it seems like 90% are kit cars

When I was at the last vintage weekend the whole time I was like is a million dollars really ripping past me rn

There was a time 20-30 years ago that the real deal vintage Ferrari’s and everything would show up. But as @patsbimmer1 said, any race used chassis are too valuable to run in anything other than large scale major vintage events (Goodwood, etc). All the GT40s are Superformance cars, which are not replicas, but more of a recreation. I believe they were even given unstamped VIN tags from Ford to use. Kind of in the same breath as the Pursang Bugatti Type 35s, but to a lesser extent given SuPer GT40s use modern drivetrains most of the time.

Thats not to say there aren’t expensive cars that run around, as there are a lot that cost more than everyone’s car on here combined. This year will be quite the BRIC as it’s the 50th Shadow Racing anniversary and I believe almost every existing shadow will be in attendance.

  4. After talking with @MPW3RLee, he had suggested just having their wheel touch up guy at the shop take care of them after he got the tires mounted on the new wheels.

They came out great, look brand new. Saved me a ton of time and sanding working as well.

I’m really happy with the result. These feel much more appropriate on the car. I think I’ll even be able to run the center waffles if I want to.

I am still waiting on the rear set. But seeing as I’m going to be up north for a week, figured I’d get these now.

  5. Been aware of this issue since buying the car, but want to see if I can address this. My guess is the deck or the amp are causing this issue. Take a listen to the attached video to hear this R2-D2 type noise. As you can see, I’m turning the knob like 4 clicks, and it’s deafeningly loud.

Just looking for where/or how to trouble shoot as I’m not familiar with car audio.

Please ignore my auxiliary fan running in the background.
