Nice work!
My answer to this question would be "You don't want to know." I'm almost to the part of the curve where I stop taking things apart, and start putting them back together again...
...almost...

Also went to check out Karben4 with Chris and the roommate. Good beer, good food and good company = good times!

Bells two hearted is one of my personal favorites!
A good friend of mine's parents were home brewers for like 15 years and have been teaching myself and a few others how to make some pretty good beer. So far we have made an irish red ale, an oktoberfest, and a spiced winter ale. In that time frame we also lost three batches of beer (at the same time) because of some bacterial contamination that soured the beer, which sucked. We deep cleaned everything and the most recent batch (spiced ale #2) came out pretty good so I think we are back on track! I am hoping to make an IPA soon as I am a huge hop head, so we will see how it goes!

Forgot to add this pic of the current batch after bottling. The Two-Hearted bottle is for size-reference next to the 1-liter and 16-ounce EZ-Cap bottles.

Good thread. Leason learned: Don't buy/drive crappy, forgettable cars with automatic transmissions.
My personal experience with the Geo re-inforces this lesson, yet somehow I think I will miss it. I've hauled 3 engines (two with transmissions), a motorcycle, a couch (on the roof with ratchet straps through the windows), moved into/out of the shop, moved 90% of the stuff from my old apartment, countless home depot runs for 2x4s, rebar, pvc, etc.... basicly used it as a truck for 2 or 3 years, all while abusing the hand-brake every chance I get. It's taken the abuse in stride, and has only had a couple minor issues...
but it's still a piece of crap.

Can't say that I miss it by any means, but an interesting one that I've owned was a bagged '62 Buick LeSabre. It had a crazy metal flaked roof too.

All the boosted cars here are blown up, so maybe not the best place to get advice from. Just kidding of course. Looking to join their ranks soon myself.
Welcome!

turned this:
into this:
not a great improvement visually, but the hood latches now, so it's more fuctional. Tied the core support to a tree with a big strap and backed up a couple times, so that was fun. Driving from West Bend to Appleton and back with no heat, however, was not fun.
Also screwed up my first batch of beer :/

Yep. I'll be bottling the the Mr. Beer extract stuff in the next couple of days. I think I was pretty diligent with the sanitation, so it should turn out fine. My gear arrived today, so I'm set to brew my first all-grain batch this weekend. I'm going to stick to small batches so I can do more experimenting with the process and recipes. The first batch will be keeping it simple: pale malt, a little caramel malt to add some sweetness and aroma, and Cascade hops. I need to sit down and figure out the quantities with a brewing calculator, but I'm aiming for an American Pale Ale style.

Beer. If you know me, then you know that I love it.
I've been drinking a lot of IPAs a few years now. In the past year or two I've started to gravitate towards pilsners, yet somehow I've never tried this one. It's the best.
On a related note: my roommate bought me a "Mr. Beer" home-brewing kit, and I think I've caught the bug... Watch for a "Follies/Joys of home-brewing" OT thread to be opening soon...
-Cheers

Finally got around to getting the pics of the suspension off my camera and made some eye-infecting visual AIDS.
Also got some raw materials to work with now, so hopefully I can get back to work on the car this weekend. Oh, and another engine to replace the Automotive Supply enhanced unit that's currently in the car. Thanks Industrialsized!
