Sounds about right. If you're looking for a legit switchback, there's one by Devil's Lake. I don't remember it being particularly photogenic, but there's plenty of rubber on the road from the fuckbois.

It's on street view as well.

I think we took this on the cruise one year.

@KaiserRolls Yea I was in that area but didn’t take the cut, I was just finding a bunch of roads off the beaten path. Cut through wildcat state park too.

  2. Well I had a epic day yesterday. I discovered some roads in Wisconsin that I would never imagine existed. Im talking switchbacks, massive elevation changes, and hairpins. Black ribbons of glory. A few of the roads were not in ideal condition, but there were so many that had FRESH blacktop I was amazed. I drove through the drift-less area from Eu Claire, all the way to Sun Prairie just west of 94. It took me about 8 hours of driving as I was doubling back and taking roads that I couldn't hit. I marked a bunch of them that I felt were worthy of a future cruise. Im likely going to go back this weekend and verify I solid route as I will be staging a video for two of my friends cars in the area.

  3. Had a friend over the other day with his new drone. Convinced me we should take this car somewhere cool. Found a crazy place that reminds me of Mars 10mins from my shop. Spent about 3-4 hours there driving around and filming. Not sure when I will have all the footage edited, but man it was epic. Here’s some pictures from my phone. (Also I got stuck 🤣)

It rained last night, but here is the aftermath.

Sorry for the delay, it's been a busy few weeks for me.  We've had a lot going on at work and at home lately!

I got my wheels hand delivered by @SteelBlue last week and promptly got them installed!  They are Artisa Elder's running 19x9.5 et35 and 19x10.5 et25 with Yokohama Advan Sport+ in 255/35r19 and 275/35r19.  The wheels are .5" wider than my stock ZCP wheels.  The offsets make them slightly more aggressive than the ZCP wheels but not as aggressive as I wanted so I'm running the same 12.5mm rear and 15mm front spacers I had on the ZCP wheels which makes it about a half inch wider than the old set up.  The picture makes it look like the rear is cambered in but it's a weird angle in the picture.

I have a set of ST XTA +3 coilovers on the way to replace the OEM 93k mile struts/shocks.  The goal isn't to lower the car more just refresh the current set up and dial in the ride and handling.

Are they directional side to side? IE; does the spoke direction "twist" the same on the drivers side?

and another for the "Why would you" category.

Why of all the E34's you could import, you would choose the most anemic of them all, and find one in a touring.

it looks in great condition, but it's screaming for a heart transplant.

That is an odd model. Maybe it was just super cheap and they will make the highest profit? Sucks there are no interior shots.
