Man I remember when my appendix burst. It was 2nd grade went to school and won a a $100 shopping spree at target with the local police station. Naturally When we got to target I went straight to the how wheels and bought $100 with of them. Later that night I was playing with all my cool new cars and suddenly it hurt to do anything. Sitting was not an option standing was the best. Told my grandma about it she told me to go to bed. Did that kept hurting really bad for hours then she took me to the hospital in a nic of time.

  2. Let's figure out the equivalent of a native american rain dance and do that for some sunshine and warm weather.
I for one wasnt expecting winter weather to ramp up in Feb. like this.

  3. Yup.
I want to believe it was more of wrong place at the wrong time type of deal but I dont know. I was selling a Nintendo Wii on craigslist for $30. YES $30!!!!!
I had a lady interested and she claimed it was for her son and she didn't have a car. Fed me a lot of text messages, I spoke with her on the phone, and she seemed very nice. So I agreed to deliver it to her seeing that it was only 10-15mins from my place in Milwaukee at the time. When I got there, it was an older house and she told me that her unit was in the back of the house and there was another tenant in the front. So I drove around back and waited. Less than a min later I hear a metallic tap on the drivers door glass. I look over and there is a 22mm handgun right in my face connected to the hand of an African American fellow. I roll down my window and he asks for my wallet. I looked at him and literally laughed. I told him I dont have any money, and that was the whole reason I was where I was. Waiting for this lady to come buy the Wii so I could make some money. He looked at me dumbfounded and wasn't really sure what to do. Then asked to see the bag that I had the Wii in. I hand it to him, he looks in it, has a disappointed look on his face, and starts walking away. I pondered for a minute about tossing the car in reverse and driving over him, but I decided against it.
Good thing I did, because just as he walked about a car lengths behind my car 4 or 5 other African American males emerged from bushes, a garage, and the other side of a wall. Most of which also had shiny metallic objects in their hands. I assume that they were waiting for someone else,  as you do not need that many people to rob someone for a $30 video game system. As they walked in the other direction, I managed to realize what just happened and started to drive away. As I played it through my head again and again, I got a suddenly burst of rage and went around the block planning to mow them down if they were on the sidewalk.
They were gone. I called the cops( mind you the police station was 2 blocks from where I was) and they wanted me to wait there. I wasn't waiting around in my car in that area again.. I drove home and spoke with the lady on the phone and she was really upset, I felt like she may have had something to do with it at that point but I didn't even care anymore. In the end I went home Wii-less without a sale, the cops never found them, and I have this really stupid learning experience and excuse to ALWAYS BE MINDFUL when dealing transactions with people you dont know.

Stories like this is the reason I normally carry when I go places. It is sad that a person could potentially loose their life over $30. It’s even sadder that the people that do things like this think it’s more satisfying to rob or kill someone then to get a job. Sometimes it just makes you wonder if you should even bother helping someone. It’s potentially a 50/50 chance of survival.
  4. Stop it.  Just stop it.  Put oil in and change it regularly.  What this doesn't show is how any of this effects engine life and a rate of failure based on a certain brand.  This doesn't tell you if any of it matters.

    +1 Great advice

I would like to add a picture of oil changes done regularly at 10k miles like recommended by the dealer. No matter the brand it all breaks down in the end. Oil still collects dirt and no engine filter will ever filter it all out.

  5. Well instead of machining the top of the piston and the valve reliefs down I made a custom MLS head gasket to keep valve clearances tolerable. Also made longer dowels for the Cylinder head alignment. I am not ver familiar with the M10 engine. A few things to keep in mind is make sure you have The extra slack in the timing chain or belt. Try to keep enough clearance between the valves and piston for thermal expansion.
