REKIII got a reaction from Rowleym in E39 Project
Sad realization Friday. The car will not be ready for my June 7th drive to Timmayfest. Unless I find something else the wife and I will be tending the BMW/Merc meet in an SRT8 Jeep. The humility.

REKIII reacted to m42b32 in Wisconsin Roundel
I was bored and had nothing to do for a few minutes and threw this together, I wasn't sure how the WI flag could be incorporated so I used the wibimmers logo. I think it turned out pretty well for a quick Photoshop just to get an idea

I understand, but the cool things about lists, is that they can be for other things. For example, the other day I wrote the ingrediants I needed for a recipe into a list. I made the declaration that the list was for my recipe, but then I also used it as my shopping list. See, same list, 2 uses.

Why do we see members cars FS posted on craigslist and mentioned here by other members, rather than see a FS ad posted?

REKIII reacted to Earl in New Daily: 1992 E34 525i 5spd
I didn't make it out to the shop this weekend like I wanted to, but I did pick up my new daily....
It's not quite a Honda Insight
Bens (GunMetalGrey) 1992 525i, 5 speed, tan interior with black heated seats and black door cards swapped in, ellipsoids, and all rear (poly) and front suspension refreshed (minus strut assemblies).
Thank you again Ben for selling me this thing=)
It is such a comfortable highway cruiser and is actually sipping less fuel than I thought it would, which is a plus=D
I will be out at the shop this weekend at the latest, but might stop in a few times during the week to look at a few things.

I had a plasma TV for awhile at my old house. That thing sucked the plasma out of you. Couldn't get too close while it was on.

REKIII got a reaction from rampelsauce in Time for some suspension
If you lower the car on springs, you will probably want to get shorter shocks as well...otherwise you will be outside the optimal range of the shock.
I've really enjoyed the ride in my KW coilovers. KW often uses a progressive rear spring to avoid some of the harshness other coilovers have.
Also note, it will be almost impossible to retain the same level of comfort when lowering the car a bit, but IMO, the lowered look completely makes up for the slightly harsher ride.
