Gen 2 raptor is the dream for an unnecessary daily driver. Not a huge fan of the newer GM interiors, think the Ford ones are better.
Funny enough a co worker has pretty much Raptor I want, in the same color as well.

I'm getting all jelly with your ford mods.  Recently sold my Gen2 Raptor and picked up a Sierra.  What a different world.
Huge pile of mods to do to it to 'make it mine'  Should be fun, but I do miss the Ford.
Love the color of yours, great choice on the wheels!!!

    I plan to keep it.
Train keeps rolling with the modifications. This one both functional and aesthetic. @patsbimmer1 has me able to actually see properly at night time now with these Alpharex LUXX LED protector headlights. I swapped the halogen bulbs for some LED ones in the stock housings when I first got the truck. Albeit an improvement, it was incremental. These headlights actually have a defined cut off point and do a great job illuminating the road. After driving my moms new Acadia that had good headlights, I’ve needed that for my own vehicle.
I think the black housings, projector “eyes”, and DRL planks fit the truck well without looking overly aftermarket.
I was very much against having to use an additional wire harness for the DRLs as I want to have as minimal intrusions to the actual functioning parts of the vehicle and to not have a rats nest under the hood. Think the tuck job came out well and was able to make a couple small notches in the fuse box for the trigger wire to run through that still allows the box to seal properly.

I should have just started a thread for this. But here the wheels are on the truck. 17x9 0 offset VenomRex VR601BL with 285/75R17 BFG KO2’s. Offset and sizing is just right to give it that perfect almost flush/slight poke look.

The look was exactly what I was going for and I am really glad I took a chance on the bronze, think they great on the truck. Wheel to tire to wheel well ratio is perfect IMO, no rubbing at all.

I'm posting the worst FS ad ever, just to drum up some interest.  This is one of those cars that someone with genuine interest will look past my shortcomings as an ad poster and request additional info.
I'm posting this for my Uncle who owns the car and did all the restoration.  He is ridiculously picky about the level of perfection that he puts into cars and has helped with other isetta restorations.
I don't know the year, or any other 'normal' details.
I do know that this car sat in my Grandpas barn (non-animal barn) since probably before I was born, then we moved it to my dads shop (dry and heated) then it went to my uncle in the early 90's.
I would venture to say that this will be one of the most perfect restorations you will see.
He is asking $45K.  At a concours type auction it would probably get low to mid 50's
If you or someone you know is genuinely interested, I can get you in contact with him.

After all the work last summer the car needed an alignment and KMR did a great job. Looking forward to getting out and testing it on the backroads soon.

I got my kids onto bikes with hand brakes and derailleurs as soon as I could so they could become little shreddies on the MTB trails.
With how quickly they grow it is hard to justify getting them each a $400 Trek so I’ve tried to find the best department store bikes and upgraded things to make them a bit safer and more trailworthy.

Looks like he has a great bike! Time to try out Minooka

I'm the same.  I understand the why and the inspector has been great about explaining the history of how the ordinances came about and it exactly was people abusing the rules in the past but for fuck sake if I'm proposing something very reasonable then why not allow me to do it on the little piece of land I pay for.  What's bothersome is they won't even consider a variance because "If we did that we'd have to do that for everyone".  I want to fight and attempt to change policy but I also feel like that'd be a waste of my time and at this point I'm flying under the radar.
For shits and giggles last night I drove around my subdivision and found many examples of people having more than one accessory building which looked just fine because the people that spent that money did it well.  I also found quite a few people who opted for the shed-in-a-box solution with the tarp like walls and it looks like trash.  That's acceptable but a very nice building that matches the landscape of the yard and improves the value of my property is fuckery.

I work in the Planning and Zoning Department in Menomonee Falls, I know all too well how that goes. In Menomonee Falls we don't limit how many Accessory Structures (sheds, detached garages, etc.) you can have, but limit the total square footage of all accessory structure to 60% of the finished living space of the home on the property. Which in most cases isn't an issue, but we have a lot of ranches here and that can really limit people what they want to do.
And in Cedarburg it's not restricted to a number, but a lot coverage ratio. In my Zoning District we can have 30% lot coverage - including house and accessory buildings. We have roughly a 13,500sf lot so we can have 4,000 sf of coverage.
I like how Cedarburg does it better, because if you have a bigger yard, you should be able to have bigger/more buildings on it if you want. I disagree with how Menomonee Falls does it, because what you have a 10 acre yard, but only need a 900sf home because why not? Now your limited to a tiny garage.
That sucks though. I've had to tell a lot of people that they can't do what they want to do because they're house isn't big enough. I don't think it's fair.

Welp, long story short this may not happen anymore.  The short of it is I talked to the inspector to take care of the building permit and everything was going swimmingly until the end when he remembered to ask me if I had another accessory building on the property and I said I have a detached garage.  I can't have more than one accessory building on the property and since I have the detached garage I can't have a shed.  I didn't see this until he sent me the 109 page ordinance and pointed me to the specific spot where it says that.  I can expand my 2nd garage to about 1,300 square feet but can't have a 140sq/ft shed.
I did find a new chicken ordinance that would permit me to build a chicken coop with no size limit that doesn't go against my accessory building count and the inspector confirmed that.  After much debate I decided against building a chicken coop since it would give the city permission to come on my property at any time to inspect the animals.
My last option is to plop it in the yard and see what happens but that carries a whole set of risks that I'm not willing to deal with.  The building inspector doesn't know my name or address so I'm not concerned about a surprise pop-in but all it takes is one person in a small town to figure it out, get upset and report me.

I'm one step closer to making my truck useable and added a Rough Country soft roll up tonneau cover.  The installation was very easy and it pulls nice and tight when closed.  I was really waffling between this and a tri fold hard cover but realistically I don't keep things in the bed of my truck that need that level of protection and the convenience of the roll up soft top was very appealing.
