I'm likely going to get one within the next 6months too. I know @Jeff used Fusion 360 at his machine shop and that's what I'm most familiar with from learning various Autodesk software in high school but the hobbyist license was severely limited about a year ago. If you become a member in the EAA you can get a solid works license for hobbyist use which is by far the best value anywhere but solid works is windows only. I'm not familiar with the chromeOS options are besides the online web apps like TinkerCAD.

Yay swap time!

Funny that basement is the same design as what my parents lived in last in Waunakee and had mold issues too. It’s really hard to find the motivation when you don’t have a useable garage space for your project either. We both know the pain commuting to shop spaces was too. Glad to see this as an update though! Can’t wait to see this car back in action as well.

Time to get the ball rolling again. Assignments will be on 11/25!
Secret Santa Time !!!
PM/text me your address if you are interested in participating and you will be added to the list.
General guideline for gifts is ~$20 or more if you choose. Gifts can be sent or opened at any time but its more magical when the presents are opened or revealed on Christmas Eve/Christmas Day
If for some reason you get assigned the same person you got in a previous year, just say so.

M3 setup?

@andyhundley and I worked at a Toyota dealership when the frame recalls were being done on the tundras and Tacoma's, that was wild. Full frame replacement on 10-15 year old trucks.
Excitied to see what you do with this!

What's the discount for wrongful advertising? 😡 Looks like a good example though

I've typically always bought most parts around the holiday sales because of pricing but at this point if it's something I'd need I would just buy too. This reminds me I need some E34 parts.
I was lucky to get a water pump for my 15L Cummins same day a month ago. Newer trucks can't get them right now along with EGR sensors, all 280+ days out on back order 🙄

Cool that you got lucky with the same track setup for comparison.
