I recently had a tank cleaned at Mike's radiator in Waukesha. Did a great job and it was only $45. I think he gets $100-150 for cleaning and sealing.

Good news, everything appears to be kosher. 
Fired it up last night and it ran fine, no missing like it did last time, and nothing weird going on. 
Couldn't run it long because I had a huge air bubble in the radiator again lol. Got that taken care of though. 
More on this story tonight when I can drive for a bit!

My wrists and fingers feel like I won the world's Thumb Wars tournament.

My attention has been on my bathroom remodel but that will be wrapped up next week. I'll be port matching the exhaust ports, turbo flange and turbo then taking it back to the machine shop.

Havent updated this is a long time. After finally getting all my stuff welded by Dan the muffler man, I got the exhaust all buttoned up, charge piping installed, fuel hoses to fuel rail on, coolant hoses mostly on, vacuumed lines routed, started cutting out the rustly floors and also got the driver side seat mounts in and welded. this is the part of the build that really gets ya. A lot of small stuff that nickel and dimes ya till its finally done. It'll all be worth it tho

Make note of this part of that post: Remember... no gasket can hold up to a bad tune, so make sure that your tuning is solid and dyno tested, and let's keep pushing the limits of the E36 platform!

My wife gave birth to our first son on Monday. Jameson Turner Hamilton! We juat got home an hour ago with him.

These will hopefully be in my hands in the near future ....
 

I was going to finish painting the arms the other day but ran out of paint and the paint I was using is now discontinued. I did spray them with self etching primer though to cover any spots I missed with the first coat of primer. 
 

 
Now I just need to get a nice day to prep and paint them, as well as the subframe. 
 
Yesterday I tackled the output shaft detent rings and seals on my diff. I will be redoing the paint on it as well as replacing the bolts for the sides and the dust caps on the flanges, don't worry=) 
 

 
Popped the flanges out to see what I was working with.
 


 
Next I pulled the sides and popped out the old seals and detent rings
 


 
Then in went the new seals
 

 
I popped the output flanges back in for now to keep any debris out of the diff. I will be coating it in KBS rustseal and just need to pick up that up as well as new hardware for the sides
 

Throw a couple of kidney grills on it, add the zebra camo, call it the x24 prototype and maybe they'll let you park with the cool kids next time?

Thanks to leadballs I got the e30 driveshaft fitted, new CSB mounts in and everything bolted down/installed.

Waiting on downpipe to be welded so I can get it back, fit it up and measure out the extension that needs to be welded to flex pipe to mate with downpipe. Once that happens, I'll need that welded up along with the bov flange and a few misc things welded to the aluminum intake piping. Anybody able to do this super fast??

Test fitted the wheels with out the tires. The fronts look good. 17x9 et25 with a 15mm spacer making them et10. 245/40s should be okay.
The rears are so tight but don't touch. 1mm of clearance from the trailing arm and spring perch. 17x10 et20. I hope the 255/40s stretch a bit on the 10in wheel.
Urban Motorworx is mounting them and should be ready for pick up tomorrow morning.
Hopefully concours can squeeze me in for an alignment tomorrow if all goes well with the fitment.
