YoungCR
Hadn't seen this yet. Those specs are impressive.Correction: IA and Concours got LRP's so I'd expect there to be examples at both.
wasnt m3
I think it's awesome that the US will see this car. I like everything except the wheels and rear spoiler. Styling wise, they look out of place on this particular car.

wasnt m3
Clearly, I understand the function of the spoiler. The wheels are just ugly on this car IMO.
straight6pwr
i love the asymmetry of the center console. its starting to trend back toward a driver-centric style of earlier bmws. only 2 pedals makes me sad GTS is a terrible moniker. over used, regardless of appropriateness. andyhundley
patsbimmer1
T.j., I know, you know the wing is functional and you know that i know you knew that but I still wanted to say that because... racecar. I agree about the wheels, they might be tolerable if they didn't have the orange accents. wasnt m3

andyhundley
Those wheels look like they belong on a VW at a Lower Standards show. B C
tsweers89
Well what's everyone think this is going to cost? Fully optioned m4 is $92k. So this is obviously going to be over 100k. I'm on the list at my dealer for a m2 but this could actually be an investment opportunity I think if it's not driven or such. I assume dealers will be charging over msrp for this. Wonder what options will be available...
patsbimmer1
I was wondering this as well. My guess is $115k and I cant imagine there will be many, if any, options. Possibly an entertainment delete option? Maybe 2 or 3 color schemes to choose from but I have a feelinh that may be limited to 1.

B C
The water for the water injection system is sourced from an artesian well in a forest outside of Munich and is blessed by Father Schlugendorf. Anything less will void the warranty.
Earl
I just realized that every aesthetic modification on this car follows the current trends in the car scene. I'm not saying they aren't functional, but the wheel style, the wing, and the accent color are what's "In" right now. All it is missing is bags... andyhundley
patsbimmer1
Wings have also been the "trend" on all racecars since the introduction of aero. Street cars have always emulated racecars from guys putting massive back tires on stock muscle cars to non functional hood scoops, etc. wasnt m3

wasnt m3
The e92 M3 GTS was priced around $150k. I'd guess this would be about the same or slightly more.

ClassE
IMO: Wing needs to be wider (and lower on the deck) and wheels need to be changed out..... Other then that I think it's pretty awesome.Give it acouple weeks and we'll surely see one plastered all over IG/FB on Accuride/Brotiforms/Etc... I would leave everything where they put it. patsbimmer1

I would leave everything where they put it.I don't question the need or location of the spoiler - I just think it kinda looks like crap (just personal opinion). Ending the spoiler at the trunk lines rather then having it come "over" the rear fender just makes it look too small and out of place.Maybe in person I'd like it though? Other then nit-picky crap like that - it's a damn good looking car.
