Jay
ok guys i been debating, i dont know which one to buy, i heard is much cheaper to get great power from a 335i with just jb5 tune, and meth injection, then to buy a super charger for a e46. idk i want to hear everyone's opinions about this two cars.. Earl
With that statement I say a 335i would be your best bet. Also, it is "which" Jay
Jay
both cars are in the same price range, but the 335 comes stock turbo and i heard a simple jb5 tune, can bump up the hp by
Brian.
E46 M3 is over rated IMO. Go for an E92 335i. Jay
B C
both are amazing. I have only driven a 335i and it makes my e30 feel like a ford taurus. Jay
YoungCR
S54 and N55 are both two of my favorite motors, it all depends on how much money you want to spend on mods, power goals, etc.
Rowleym
My friends 335xi(just got it- obviously 6sp black) "malfunctioned" and he tossed her over a curb. It popped up on the display as "brake and drive systems malfunction!"
DrLeadFoot
335i for sure. Turbos are like cheating. Ask Braun how much $$$ cheating gets ya! Jay
Rowleym
That same kid actually blew one of the turbos too haha.
Guest bigjae1976
Two different cars. The 335 is going to be a faster and more luxurious street car. An E46M3 would be a faster and more raw track car.
AvusHatesCones
If you want straight line speed, absolutely buy the 335. You have to truly want everything the E46 has to offer, in order to put up with the neediness of the car. But the reward of the E46 M is far greater than the 335, from a driving enthusiast point of view. Both great cars in their own right. But the E46 M3 is so far from over rated. need4speed1299
335i.
patsbimmer1
The 335i is going to be great but the reliability of the turbo motor is questionable. I would go with the e46 m3 if it was my money.
REKIII
e46 looks better. If this is going to be a daily driver/only car, go with the 335. If this will be a fun toy that you can spend some money on, go wit hthe e46.
Earl
Or just get an e39 m5 jc43089 and REKIII

REKIII
They're heavyyy. That they are. A carbon roof takes away some weight though
