Update. 
I gotta finish welding up the last control arm but here’s 3 of them. 
I used 3d printed jigs to replicate the tube lengths and made up a quick fixture.

I would not recommend using a stripper bolt in this manner. They are not intended to handle lateral forces and have a inherent stress riser at the base of the thread that is prone to failure.
Ideally you would support both sides of the pivot point from the subframe.  if you must support it from one side a spool and bolt design will bend before failure, since it keeps the bolt in tension.

Well, I was going to share this yesterday, but I bought it instead. 🤭

So it's been a lot of truck stuff lately, but we're back to the BMW way of life.
I enjoyed seeing Jake's car hanging around, and I am getting sick of driving a crew cab long box truck around in the Seattle area, so I was on the hunt for a new and smaller daily. 
So far the chassis feel is awesome, and it corners a lot better than the truck.... 
It's just a 128, but that seems like the move for now, reliable, good gas mileage, and overall a bit easier on the budget. Sport seats and the sport steering wheel coupled with the paddle shifters make it aight. It's got something that sounds a lot like the BMW performance exhaust on it, which sounds just fine. 
Cars our here are super awesome due to the lack of rust.

Last weekend my son turned 4 and for his birthday my mom got him a BMW Motorsport Teddy Bear which I've never seen before.  It's pretty cool!

Everything is finally settled, the fiance and I close on our house 6-17-19!
 
Only drawback is the 2 car garage, so I need to figure out if it's cost effective (and if there's enough room) to add a 3rd garage spot, or just go with a parking pad next to the garage for my DD.

Did some coding to get the DSC light off and threw on the summer wheels!
Had to switch 2 sensitivity settings to S62B50 and the light went off!  Went from 10 to 13 on one and 3 to 2 on the other.
I still need to get the dsc/abs module to think it is a manual but that needs to be done through the IKE (cluster) but I already popped in the M5 cluster so the VINs don't match up.  Might need to pop in the 540i cluster to code it to manual then swap back to the M5 cluster. Need to look into this further.

I had one wear through the clear plastic cup and fail in a steaming pile like yours. Bypassed by connecting the broken hose to the heater valve input and haven't noticed any difference.
