Working on the steam vent routing on the 4 corners of the heads. This MSD intake is BIG.
PCV routing is next up on the to do list after the steam vents.
Anyone know of a good, low profile product to put in the trans tunnel for noise/heat shielding? Something with adhesive backing would be great.

From my limited reading it is not as twitchy as the Z3 rack but still quick. I was looking for something that wasn't totally annoying to drive on the freeway for road trips.

Finally got the tune uploaded from Frank Smith Tuning Tech!! Hopefully the engine light will be off for awhile.
Might need to get new header nutz due to a pre-cat code on bank 1. We shall see!

Sikky kit with their aluminum drive shaft and stainless 1 7/8" headers and other bits. Hopefully I can get some time in the garage this weekend.steam vents?!
I installed my m52 from underneath. I think i like doing it that way better than ramming the engine hoist into the ceiling.
Im guessing you are using a Sikky swap kit?

glad i'm not the only one who's frame rail looks disregarded
those new lines are oh so tidy. *thumbsup
Thanks! This thing has been jacked up so many times... LOL a local indy shop smashed up my rockers after they were perfectly straightened out by yours truly. Those will get bent back and painted.

Looks good man! Does the LS require larger fuel lines? I can now gladly say that i have now seen one of those 135 degree bend AN fittings in use. Are the lines aluminum? I wouldnt think steel would be uncoated.
All the dents gives the jack something to grab onto!
It doesn't require larger fuel lines. I'm running 5/16 steel fuel lines for now. Got the line in a 30' roll from napa. We will see how they hold up but they should be fine.
Two 120 degree AN fittings are looking great! Behling Racing in Butler hooks it up for these things. I broke one this AM while making the hose and they only charged me $10 for a new one.

Ehh, they are okay. The biggest mountain to climb with the sound is the rattling in the door panels. Added their material to the insides of the front doors and it helped a lot but still isn't amazing. How do you like the Bav Sound speakers? Always been interested in them, just don’t make anything for pre-2k models.
I can't wait to get back into the e30 with the speakers ampped with 500 watts and a 1000 watt sub.

I'm trying. With a 6 month old I have 30 min here, 2 hours there. I'll pick it up!
You should. They are cheap and will save you some guess work down the road! Glad to see you making good progress. Keep on hammering through [emoji3]Thinking about putting a pressure gauge in the engine bay for easy trouble shooting.Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

I go to flick the honker off then look around to see no one except myself in the mirror flipping my face the bird. #bimmerlife
Hahahaha! That's a cruel cruel joke your car is playing. I love it.My clock spring just broke so that will go in shortly. Airbag light is on and sometimes randomly honks.Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

Snaps at 24 valves and I'm soon to be at 16 which is oddly setting up 2018 to be the BIGGEST, MOST GREATEST, HUGEST year of all the years combined ever in the history of history.

Kinda, -6AN fittings attached to a stock filter/regulator. See pic.Are those quick-disconnects on the fuel lines?Making new fuel lines with my new 37 degree AN flare tool! Super easy but haven't mastered my bends yet.
Fuel Feed: Tank -> 4-6" of 3/8" rubber hose -> barbed fitting -> -6AN Male -> -6AN Female -> 2' of 5/16 Steel fuel line -> -6AN Female -> -6AN Male attached to input of Fuel filter/pressure regulator -> -6AN Male attached to output Fuel filter/pressure regulator -> 4' of 5/16 Steel fuel line -> -6AN Female -> -6AN Male -> braided fuel line -> -6AN fuel rail adaptor -> LS3 Fuel Rail (Needed to use to fit MSD Atomic AirForce Intake) -> DEKA 60lbs injectors
Fuel Return: Tank -> 4-6" of 3/8" rubber hose -> barbed fitting -> -6AN Male -> -6AN Female -> 2' of 5/16 Steel fuel line -> -6AN Female -> -6AN Male attached to return of Fuel filter/pressure regulator
Thinking about putting a pressure gauge in the engine bay for easy trouble shooting.

Haven't updated this one in awhile.
Recently:
- Replaced constant pressure oil valve.
- Installed RTABs with poly bushings
- Got 2 big leaks in my exhaust properly welded and fixed.
- Installed new Bavarian Sound Werks speakers.
- Sound deaded the front door panels.
