I never snapped any either. No heat or pb blaster. I zipped them off with a half inch impact and ground down an air chisel bit to this shape.

Not too much of an update, only a few new things.
    - Ended up replacing both front calipers in December, right front had an extremely sticky piston that ended up causing some pretty violent vibration after a few minutes at highway speed, the left side was better but still getting bad so both got replaced. No pictures unfortunately, but in the last photo i posted you can see just how much more brake dust there is on the front wheel than the rear. Luckily, no warping of the rotors occurred and there's still plenty of pad left, lucked out there.
    - Picked up a set of 17" style 5's from @need4speed1299, I'll post more pictures as I begin the tear-down. I'm currently planning on stripping everything, repainting the centers in the stock silver, and polishing the lips. I also plan to send off the bolts to be plated, anyone have experience with places for this (especially local places)? Del's Plating Works in TX seems to be one that's popped up on r3v a few times, I'll send them an email soon to see what I'm looking at on cost. Sounds like anywhere from $50 to $75 is a decent estimate.
Here's some pics of the wheels. The first four seem solid, minimal if any curb rash, although they've all had a crappy respray over the factory finish that is peeling in spots. The fifth one has some very slight curb damage, should sand out.
I think I'm going to remove the hardware from the fifth one and send it off with the stuff from the other four, not sure what I'll do with it beyond that. Might be worth it to look for an unbent barrel and refinish it as a spare as long as the center piece wasn't tweaked. It would make pretty cool furniture though too...

I have the front 1/2 to complete this. E36 M3 control arms and brake calipers as well I believe.

I have an ad up on facebook with some of my big parts, I'll post below. If you guys need hardware, cam gears, connectors, any smaller parts (for e30, e28, e34, e36 m20, m50, m52, s50, s52, m54) let me know. I've been there, waiting for a single bolt for 5 days so I can install camshafts. Or needing nuts/bolts and paying $12 at a hardware store for a handful of mix-matched hardware. Here's my facebook ad with larger parts I have for sale.

Or maybe he was a white collar criminal who had just recently purchased his beloved 330i just prior to getting nailed for an Enron like crime and hitting the pen for the past decade.  Now he is a bitter criminal with a chip on his shoulder looking to recoup some of his expenses in order to start plotting his next scam.  He's seeing things in the world that are new to him now, such as Craigslist.  This explains the all-caps and lack of proper punctuation in his ad.  Fuckin criminals don't need punctuation!  His caps lock key is still on from the week prior to getting locked up, when he wrote his final words to those who turned on him... They were friends and colleagues.  They took the easy way out and made him out to be the mastermind... they will PAY!  He saw things on the inside that he'll never forget... things no one should ever endure.  Randy, his cell mate, was the only friend he had left.  Randy was serving 15 years and already had a couple under his belt before this guy shows up.  Randy took him under his wing, showed him the ropes, where to sit in the cafeteria, what side of the yard to walk on... Randy did it all.  What our guy didn't know was that Randy had burned some bridges with LRPG, a local Buffalo gang.  He had helped them with a front for their cocaine business.  Problem was, Randy loved that yayo.  Too much of a good thing and Randy got them all caught.  A simple slip of the books and red flags were everywhere.  Well LRPG took care of him on the yard one day, shank to abdomen, then the legs, then the chest... over and over again he was stabbed right in front of our guy.  This jaded our guy and he blames those colleagues... those friends... those whistle blowers... those snitches for the pain he had endured.

Now he's out and he's looking for payback... and an insanely high price tag on an e46 non-m.

I once was using a chinese plyers. I squeezed it too hard and it broke. It jabbed a whole in my hand. I contacted China, but their customer service sucks and their jibberish is foolish. Long story short, snap on FTW.

I remember a posting about the m12 engine a couple weeks ago. Here is a car the engine went in, and some of its racing history. Its a long, worthwhile article with great vintage pictures.
