Bassboy3313 reacted to Jeff in Turbo missing under load
i have used the miller software for 5 years now and yes my car runs yes it is tuned but the problem is not in my car or its tune. the problem is the high school drop out that made the software and chip with horrible tables and imaginary values that mean nothing. ignorance has nothing to do with the software issues. ignorance is the definition of miller performance and there associates.
also calling miller performance is of no help seeing as they only help if your spending $$$$$ for there garbage.
if you like the war chip and its crappy software then use it.
if you like to keep your car the same and never strive to better something the war chip is for you bud.
i like the guys at miller as much as president obama and his crap ass obamacare no changing my mine.

The BF e21 guys are ripping this owner apart since it apparently doesn't seem to be a real Alpina. Looks clean tho.

Went over to Brian's (Snap) house yesterday to use his oven for my oil pan and valve cover. He Blasted them and I powder coated them. I am happy with how they turned out.

Sounds like OP got scammed. I'd demand a refund.

Here it is on an e21. I think it will look great with the flares.

Kyle picked up my block today, so hopefully that will go smooth this week. Then I'll assemble the engine and start dropping her in the car.

New addition to the parts stash just arrived from the UK. E21 motorsport rear spoiler. Not easy to come by, so I'm super psyched about it.

The z3 rack is for avoiding pot holes and the diff is for going slow over bumps. #lowlife

Finished prepping, rust sealing (with KBS) and laid the first coat of paint down on the engine bay.
Also powder coated the intake manifold. Still need to sand the BMW logo and stripes back out.

Got the head all assembled and ready to go. Last thing to do is adjust the valves once I get some feeler gauges.
Also, powder coated the turbo compressor housing and some pulleys.

Drove to MN today with my buddies in this & I'm now deaf
Drove to an airplane hangar where things were for sale
There was an e36m3 gutted with an sr20 swapped into it, it was neat.
Bought this
It sucked to get it in and out of a lifted truck, I don't recommend doing it.
it was cold
S50 out of a 95M3 with a ZF and basically everything to drop in my car and drive (minus a driveshaft)
It has a dinan chipped ECU as well, FWIW...
So basically, I'm going to keep the S50 in my garage, put the M vanity cover on my M50, and call it quits

Finally motivated myself to get something done yesterday.
I wasn't liking how the trans was looking with how clean I could get it so I decided to paint it with high temp flat aluminum paint.
I got everything as clean as I could and masked everything off.
I then sprayed two coats of paint after waiting about 15-20 minutes in between the coats. Turned out pretty decent=)
I will paint the detent spring plate when I remove it to go the springs and I will clean up the output flange as well. Now I just need to swap out the seals and springs and it should be good as new.

Picked up the flywheel yesterday after work=) Don't mind the stain on the friction surface. It happened when the flywheel was cleaned after being resurfaced. You cannot feel it on the surface so it won't harm anything.
I also got some parts back from powdercoat.
