New summer wheels to come!  Bought these from Kerry and he was nice enough to get them powder coated.  The 4-door is going to look like a 90s Pontiac with the color matched wheels.

Summer wheels on!  She has been running great!
Need to get it to Mike's to do the rear subframe & diff bushings after we move to our new house on April 24th. Will also get the diff mount welded to reinforce it. Would love to get the rear subframe powder coated as well.

Been out of storage for about a tank of gas.  The battery had power but not enough to crank.  A quick jump and on the road again!
Need some new rear tires and to go back to stock RTABs.  The polys are too noisy for me.
We are using the wagon for wagon things and swapped the kiddos seats into the m3.  A rear facing baby seat in a coupe is forced yoga.  Lol

for wisconsin, i'm using the one Rek posted
    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/1/d/e/2PACX-1vQpuJ2G20VVzGa_ic-dfwGVDDSv1hCA1n94mIm51GWA0SX74nYoiq4yn1H_o0N8doCFxmOL8E9jbPnW/pubhtml?fbclid=IwAR2Dh1GEdKXw100o9ON0zo609J3ejicHm-_8ZZvgcqYNXiC68s_C_a4pZBc#
someone is personally tracking the wisconsin numbers, no idea where he got it from. it has daily update projections based on averages of the last few days, shows percentage of spread increase, etc.
you must be confused about DrLeadFoot, he's in the RE game. doesnt detract from how hard he is working for people, though!

and about all the people out and about, you're right it seems like there is too many. i've only been out to buy food and once to go to work when "at home" wouldnt cut it for tech support.
my big complaint is when i've been to the grocery store (just twice in the last 30 days) to buy as much food as possible without risking stuff spoiling I see people walking out of the store with like a single bag of chips and a case mountain dew. did you really need to go out for just that?! and if you are going out for that, buy like fricken 20 bags and 10 cases so you dont go out again!

I was thinking more along the lines of the 4th of July being ‘yooge, but you may be on to something. What site are you using to track virus data?
    I have been using https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/
but It may not be very accurate as it seems to rely on user data like a wiki page.
Working from home hasn't been as glamorous as I thought it might be. The stress has been worse from communication breakdowns and employee laziness.
Im grateful to still be employed for the while. I still head in to the office for ~2 hours a few times a week to take care of some things I cant do from home and am surprised by the amount of people who are just out doing things. I cant imagine they are all unemployed. I feel moreso they are supposed to be working but just aren’t.

enjoyed the warm weather from 5 till 6. cleaned up the subrame and installed the new bushings. i'm happy with the condition, so no paint is needed. that fricken poly bushing lube is nasty, its almost as tacky as sap!

also got the trailing arms done, same story applies. no rust on the brake dust shields, which is very telling of the overall condition.

stage 2 of diff cleaning complete (degreaser, wire brush, rags, garden hose) good enough to crack her open

cleaned up more parts, too. don't think i'll need to powdercoat anything, its all in good shape.

found a few of the output flange/axle bolts are too damaged to reuse.  07119919620 for my reference.
edit: hmm, it appears there is a torx version. this may be way better than the allen head type. however they are m10x43 vs the stock units that are m10x50 - https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-bmw-parts/torx-screw-with-ribs/33207572716/

slightly stripped threads on a couple as well. i believe this happens because they drag on the axles when turning them out due to the rubber boots being in the way.

removing the stock rubber diff bushing is as easy as cutting through the outer sleeve, then tapping with a screwdriver to pop it free.

voila! never force this bushing, you can break the whole mount ear off the diff cover.

the diff oil was pretty clean. no burning, no particles.

another stroke of luck, 95% of the paper gasket peeled right off

LSD unit. not cracking this open yet to replace clutches, the diff still has good lockup.
