YoungCR
I just moved my semi front one side of the street to the other. Surprisingly I was able to get out of the snow pile with out shoveling. Couple times back and forth and my 435/60R22.5 rears were able to get some traction in 3rd gear. Slidy time later in the Burb though when I go to get groceries! mkoepp
B C
Chris' burb handling skills are a spectacle to behold. I have never seen someone handle such a large vehicle with such confidence YoungCR and mkoepp

rampelsauce
540s slide pretty good around the greater Grafton metropolitan area.
jc43089
I locked the hubs in and took the cruiser out. Good times. I need to step up to a snatch strap though, the standard one and my junk tires aren't that great for pulling with. I feel like maybe 235/85r16 snow tires are in order for next winter. ClassE
We only got 3"-4" of snow up by us. Snow tires will be on the E90 for next winter if I can find some nice 18" summer rollers.
patsbimmer1
I found out that my escape will do awd drifts and even had a subaru attempt to follow my lead through a round-about and then he put it in a snow pile. I had the e90 yesterday and today with the snow tires and she is an absolute beast in the snow! She actually turns in snow! jc43089

REKIII
BMW+snow tires=awesomeness100% agreed. The first winter I had my 5 I drove it (which was incredibly stupid and cost me about $4K) . It handled great! I had a set of Blizzaks on it and I could go through anything. I burnt the rear two off, which sucked.
i_love_cars
even with snow tires, my car struggles but probably because I haven't set the tune back to stock map I have to drive somewhat gingerly when other people are around, lest my back end slides into them I went to Concours this morning to have my 3rd brake light replaced due to cracking, and the service advisor asked me "so, how does that handle in the snow?" lol, it clearly sticks out like a sore thumb in a bad way in winter. 135 =/= winter-friendly.
