Windows are tinted. 35% Wayne at Fade to Black did a great job and was super easy to work with.
In other news, put a fuckin 12" pin stripe on the passenger door because the wheel barrow was too close on one side and I was trying to not hit the snow blower on the other.
Fuck winter.
I'll be buffing, polishing, and touch up painting as soon as it's not a blizzard and above 50 outside.

Didn't know they were building new showers, between that and a re-paved motorplex this year should be a blast
Well they've been under construction. Theres the new one by the Sargento bridge and they are putting one in at the top of the hill right by the bottom of 5. There was a new one that had been at turn 3 for this year.

New shower facilities are looking fiiiirrreeee. Especially with that new one right by the sargento bridge.
Looking forward to sweating. Especially the Hawk, I am absolutely just disgusting at the end of the day. Because I get there at like 8 and am there till 5 and walking constantly. I walked 24 miles over Saturday and Sunday last year.

The shipping for this lip was gonna be like $70 if I wanted to return so I figured I would just keep it and try to make it work. Started out by painting it. Got one can of the correct paint from the automotive paint store which ended up being the perfect amount to do this lip. Bought a kerosene heater just so I could take advantage of painting on my day off. I think it came out really well, you can really see the flake in the Black Sapphire Metallic. Just need to work on mounting it, don't know if I'll be doing that anytime soon considering its still December outside and these past 4 months have been a simulation.
Not bad for a $30 rattle can job.

It's one of the support races for IMSA this year. Should be pretty interesting.

Im still hoping to organize an August/Sept. WIBIMMERS meet and drive that goes to Road America and either tours the facilities a bit or just get to hang out within the premises at the end of the drive. If you have any dates/info/tips/ideas please chime in!
Well there is a BMW corral on the bottom of the main straight hill on the outside of turn 14. I've seen some pretty good stuff there over the years. If people are looking to get a little bit of a tour of the track I'd love to show people around. I put together a large Road America guide on the Indy Car subreddit that I can try to find and post here for those who have not been.
After work I'll post up the schedule for the main events that people might be interested in.

I work with the track, so I am there quite frequently for all of the main events through out the year. Always looking for other people to walk around the track and drink with. If you're going to any events, reach out to me and let me know, would love to put a couple names to some faces.
If you aren't going, I am inviting you to do so. You're on this forum because you like cars, come watch the best cars at the best track in the best country. Believe me, folks.
But for real, Vintage and Indy Car are the big ones. Let me know.

Lolololol. That's the guy that installed your coils. We were in Oshkosh looking at a 335i together. Lee's M3 is a blast to drive, and it sounds godly.
That's Lee's car? I'm gonna have to message him.

I saw one of these yesterday. I need one. That engine plus chassis/body in an incredible combination.
Aiming for 2-3 years from now.
Congrats on the pick up again.

I would prefer a BBS RSII, but those brotiforms are easier to find in good sizes at half the price sure makes them more desirable.
$3000 vs $1500

Is there a negative connotation with Rotiform?
Also, working with Pat, these end up being less than $1000 for the 19s

Thanks man.
This is what I am thinking for next summer. Or maybe this summer if I get this new job.
Then I gotta start figuring out going M sport bumpers.

H&R sport springs installed. I think the car rides very similar to stock, very happy with the way it came out.
Window tint is up next.
