Jesus how has that not sold yet?!?!

Funny it looks like a spinning 80's image of how my E24 looked when I got it. Just a lot smaller.

I think I saw this car on Facebook Market place and it said to have a Brembo BBK on it.

    This also popped back up

Someone should buy these and make a V8 6MT wagon!

    335i pin striping edition

It has (1?) M3 fender, so it will get sold on the right price.

Haha I was thinking the same thing about the e21, I was actually just going to post about how similar they were. I feel like if that guy got rid of the white grilles and went to euro bumpers, that would be such a cool car. Even changing back to silver bumpers would be an improvement though.

Hmm, re the 318is the car's title from NY was "lost". Wonder did seller lose it or never had it?

The e30 parts seller is someone who bought a half semi-load of parts plus a number of cars from an estate sale a year ago, two years ago? I emailed back a forth with him a bit but never went down to actually look at what he's got. Anyone looked at the stash?

Interesting, I always wondered what the deal was with that ad. I might shoot him a message about a diff.

  3. Bit of an oddball find.

I really dig the color combo. Whole car looks a little rough around the edges though.

I've got irrational desire to someday own a long wheelbase 7 series. The fact that there's a couple pretty decent ones on CL right now isn't helping.

Decent deal on an '02. No real interior, but it'd be cool for bombing around on backroads in.

Not long enough from what you're describing but kind of looks like part of the wiring for the ambient temp sensor (that fits in your driver's brake duct), or part of the horn harness but with the side clips broken off.

    Here is a horn pigtail:https://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-E30-Horn-Late-Model-Connector-Pig-Tails-325i-325is-325ic-318i-318is-/172961235390?hash=item28454b01be

Have you traced the wire back through the firewall and under the dash?

I haven’t, that’ll probably be something I do next spring when I’m back home. I forgot to mention that it did have clips on the sides, one was already broken and the other one crumbled when I was looking at it.

  5. I was poking around on the car today and found a mystery connector sitting up by the fuse box on my e30. I’m curious to what it’s for, any ideas? The wires coming out of it are brown and green/brown. At first I figured it was from the old alarm, but it has a BMW connector on it and doesn’t look spliced in.

It was such an amazing day for late november, bet it was great with the top down!

What do you drive in the winter and why do the tires go in the basement?

Yeah it was a great day for a drive, although I got quite a few funny looks as it got colder later in the day haha. I drive a ‘98 Mercury Grand Marquis when I’m home in the winter (it’s not going back to school with me), it’s a barge and a gas guzzler but a total hoot in the snow.

Tires are going in the basement because they’re extreme performance summers, and I think I’m going to follow manufacturer warnings at least for this year and keep them out of the cold. The car is stored in an unheated garage so I don’t want to take any chances with the rubber cracking and ruining a 1500 mile set of tires.
