I registered this for Euro District on April 15th...not sure why I did it but I figured it is time for me to set a goal to achieve.

It's been a while since I've updated this thread. I took a break on the car to focus on family issues, but now I'm back and ready to spend some money.
The first thing I did was clean the garage and move my car over. I also put it on the ground so I would get a little more motivated.
Then I bought some coilovers, sway bars, control arms and tie rods. I got the majority if everything done besides the front coils.

You and Earl should get together and discuss the differences between using wheel/rim and street rod/rat rod.

Started the PayPal dispute process with MAKSInjection... That should be fun.

In the meantime - I got a referral to "MEPEH" for injectors.  Sent them some messages on my predicament, and got immediate responses back with good info and willingness to help.  Less then an hour later I had (2) injectors and some spare o-rings being shipped NDA - with plenty of unnecessary pictures of him boxing and at post office.

Cant say enough good things about that kind of service - good prices and great communication will always have me coming back!

So temporary injectors will be here tomorrow until I get my crap service resolved with MAKS - which means I should be up and running by tomorrow night!!!

With my s50 turbo e30 pretty much wrapped up for the year i am thinking about opening up my shop to do work on other cars. Can do anything that i have done on my car (I have a small build thread on here). Very familiar with E30's and E36's. Any interest or questions send me a message or shoot my at text @ 920-948-0040. I also have a super clean, black 1988 e30 with minor front end damage i can build for someone. Thanks!

Original owner was a guy in texas, great service and communication, new owner is in florida and leaves you hanging with communication like a depressed 16 year old gamer managing an ebay store

I have been really really lacking on updates, So I am going to take the shotgun approach and share some of the progress I have been making. Here are a bunch of pics of the motor in the car. I used a level and a plumb bob to get the motor where it needs to be and Chris made some brackets out of the stock M20 mounts because we agreed they look awesome.

On a side note, look how perfect the shifter fits in the stock shifter location!! It was meant to be!

Finished the prep work, primed everything, and paint laid down really well but i didn't have enough to paint the trunk. Oh well that's another days project.

    Meth, not even once.
If I ever get a new intercooler I will definitely be applying high emissivity coatings to it. Something to consider if you need to bring temps down without meth/changing the entire intake setup. Some folks have never heard of it before so I thought i'd mention it
Just dont be one of those "paint your intercooler" black dudes

Since my last post I got some more work done. I installed the M3 steering wheel, re-setup the management board for my air ride, rebuilt the disa valve with the German auto solutions kit, stained the wood for my trunk setup (finally), and installed a new csf aluminum radiator. I recently ordered the E60 shift lever, uuc dssr, and mishimoto aluminum expansion tank. I have a few more things to order but I should have plenty of time to drive it before I make the trip down for The Euro District.

Glad to see your commitment to perfection and attention to detail are still alive and well.

Most people dont know it but at the E30 picnic and Concours I inspect peoples door latch strikers. I have a running list of cars I would and would not buy if I ever saw them for sale.

Ordered spacers for the front earlier this week and they have arrived today! Put them on and this is how they fit now. The rear still needs work. But I don't have the time at the moment for that.

It'll all be under the frame that the air tank is on top of. So I'll still be able to have a spare tire!

Well I got more accomplished last night before I fell asleep under the car somewhere around 3am. I managed to get the diff cover off, blast it, clean it, paint it, put a gasket in there (there wasnt one at all :/), and bolt it to the subframe.

I installed new axles because I messed up the boot on one of them and it was cheaper to order a set then use the rebuild kit anyways. So I returned the rebuild kit and ended up with these bad boys

Installing them was a bit of a challenge since I wanted to put them on outside of the car. I used two Allen keys with the new hardware I bought and held the axle in place with one while I use the other key to  torque the other axle into place.

The result was very satisfying though

I then managed to BY MYSELF raise the sub frame into the car with two dolly's, a floor jack, two jack-stands, and some misc wood. I only have a few pictures here as this was extremely hard by myself. I could have waited for help, but I was anxious to get it together.

In the end, I managed to get it installed and the drive shaft bolted up. I had to wedge the sub frame studs back through the holes behind the interior panels, slight pounding and yelling ensued.  I also installed the new sway bar links(while I laughed and made jokes about the cute sway bar that most likely does nothing anyways) and also ran all the new stainless brake lines, and bolted the ABS sensors and Ebrake cables back into place. Somewhere along this process is where I fell asleep on the comfy Creeper and woke up confused around 4am. I will take pictures when I finally install the brakes and power bleed the system very soon!!!
