GunMetalGrey got a reaction from Jdesign in Diaries of a Daily Driver
Turns out this does snow fairly well, didn't expect it to float on top but it did!
Mountain snow is wild, and deep as hell.

The curse can be reversed if enough unfinished project cars unfold their mirrors in unison.

This reminds me of why I enjoyed working with the group of engineers I did when I worked out of our office.
We could sit and calmly discuss / debate things that we had completely opposing opinions on. No one stormed out, no one refused to talk to someone because of their opinion (well, shy of one guy) it was just good clean discussion.
It seems like that is becoming less common, and the polarizing of sides isn't helping us out at all.

GunMetalGrey got a reaction from B C in BMW has a 'new' logo
I assumed this would have been posted here!
The new logo is just for branding / marketing. This logo is not to be used on cars.

All we can hope for is that Les McBurney will be on scene!

Here's what I got done on my winter to-do list:
- Complete the e36/Mclaren F1 window switch retrofit - nope
- Re-do exhaust mid section - nope
- Finish horn relay/wiring - nope
- Diagnose/fix driver's front running light (currently no power) - nope
- Re-do water temperature sensor ground - nope
- Once the weather warms up in the spring, repaint all the faded trim and a few other things - nope
- Maybe some other stuff - nope
I did stop by the garage yesterday and cranked it over with the fuel pump relay pulled to build oil pressure, then popped the relay back in and it fired right up! Can't wait for driving season!

Everyone is invincible and immortal up until they're not.
His headstone will read "Statistically I should have been fine"

I have been looking at buying an E92 M3 the past few months, and was working on figuring out how to make it happen.
One night I was working on making a wiring harness for the front bumper on the diesel, and realized that's what I like about cars, making things, hacking things apart, and just general tomfoolery. Buying an M3 will not satisfy those desires at all, as anything other than bolt on modifications tank value (and that costs a bit more than I care to lose resale on).
There is also the cool factor. An M3 will be just like everyone else's, which just doesn't feel like a viable replacement for me at this time.
I do also struggle to give up on things lol. Especially considering it is running right now and in theory I could not touch it and drive it daily.

I’ll be back in a month with another insignificant update

I do also have a line on another complete engine, new head, 324TD wiring harness and cluster, along with other various parts.
As always, torn on what to do.
This has been my random rambling for the evening.
