Car looks good, where did you get the M3 front bumper and how was mounting it?Everything is for sale for the right price. Haha. And I believe I got it from turner Motorsport. And I think i used preface lift brackets and there is a screw hole on the bottom of the bumper that goes to the lower fender liner.
nick.e46.330i.
So. The other day I went to bleed the clutch on my e46 and once I got it back on the road The cruise control wouldn't work. The light for it will turn on once I start my car but will go away once I start moving. Then it won't come back on unless I shut it off turn it back on but then it will do the same thing. What did I do?
patsbimmer1
Clutch switch possibly.
B C
I agree with the clutch switch diagnosis. It is adjustable so try adjusting it before shelling out for a new one. only 1 out of 10 times that ive worked on a brake/clutch switch issue was the switch actually bad, the rest of the time it has just needed adjustment. patsbimmer1
nick.e46.330i.
Since mid-summer of last year I've been gathering parts for air ride. (Yea it took a while. Buying e30 stuff gets in the way. Haha) I've had the struts since summer and I just ordered my management. I have air lift performance struts and will be using switchspeed management. jc43089 and patsbimmer1

nick.e46.330i.
In the trunk of my car on the drivers side there is a wiring harness that does not plug into anything. I figured I could splice into a remote power wire there. I'm just curious what it is for. It is not for the cd changer. Anyone know what it's for? jc43089
Optional security system? My e36 had a plug for that in the trunk. Sent from my potato phone
nick.e46.330i.
If I remember right there was more than just one plug. But you could be right. I'll get a picture of said harness tomorrow.
nick.e46.330i.
This is the harness I'm talking about.
Earl
That has to be the cd changer. Alarms are usually behind the glovebox (where my compacts is) and the e46 disc changer is on the drivers side and looks to use multiple plugs
patsbimmer1
I would agree ^^^ that definitely looks like some kind of audio bundle.
nick.e46.330i.
I have the disc changer in my car though. That's why I'm not too sure.
nick.e46.330i.
To follow up on that wiring harness in the trunk. I googled the part number on the big plug. It comes up as the plug for Bluetooth.
jc43089
Interesting, I didn't know that was an option back then.

nick.e46.330i.
Slowly starting to put my air ride in. Started on putting a wood floor in the trunk. I wanted to get the trunk put together last night so I could stain the wood but it started to rain.
