The Full Banana Posted October 5, 2012 Report Share Posted October 5, 2012 So I figure this is pretty off-topic... any of you guys have any potential interest in a silly old volvo 240 with a low-mile late-model turbo motor swapped in and ready to go? Everything works, engine bits are fresh, brakes are new, suspension is new. Anyways, having two 240 turbo projects is a little silly, so I'm getting rid of one. If anyone has interest, I can give you more details a little later. For now, here's a teaser picture. (apologies for hood being open...) these cars aren't terribly common around here... especially early model, and with this swap, and the cool single round & flathood front end. The owner is supposed to know his stuff about carbs, but carbs are black magic to me, so I stay away anyways. The current FI tuner is OK, but only works nights and weekends so it's annoying to a lot of customers.I don't think there is anything bad about them, just wouldn't take any of my vehicles there. Almost every Dyno has a factor in it that can be changed to manipulate the numbers. It's up to the user if they want fake numbers.
