Went out and started it and when it started to stumble, I unplugged the TPS and it immediately shot back up to 900rmp. Can the TPS be adjusted or does it just need to be replaced? Spraying hot water after soaking in degreaser (mean green or equivalent) is best unless you have access to a steam cleaner. B C Posted July 25, 2014 Report Share Posted July 25, 2014 It can be adjusted but the tb has to come off (no big deal) It is a three position switch, idle, part throttle, full throttle. TehRaydarlover Posted July 28, 2014 Author Report Share Posted July 28, 2014 Installed the spare TPS and it still doesn't want to idle correctly. when I unplug the TPS the rpms jump up to 900 where it should be. It had me worried when I tried to drain the fluid out it was dry 0.o but then I realized the axles have been out for a year letting it all drain out.
