It isn't the camera, there are so many factors that go into getting good photos. It's like saying, "I wish I had Picasso's brushes so I could paint good pictures." Very true. Some of my friends have dropped over $2000 into a camera body yet still have mediocre results. straight6pwr Posted June 14, 2013 Report Share Posted June 14, 2013 yeah but you can't say that having nice equipment can't make a bad photographer (or chef) better. pictures tend to look better with 1bajillion pixels. food tends to not overcook if your grill's infrared sensor tells you the grill is too hot. for instance, that moon shot would have look like absolute crap if someone handed you a crappy P&S, no matter how good you are. but yeah, pro's take great shots with any camera you hand them. If you have something that can snap a picture, you can take good pictures. There are also a few from a roll I took hanging out with TJ sometime last year. They'r not the best, but they were all taken with my 1981 Minolta Hi Matic AF2.
