  1. I cut the spinning nut off with a dremel and ground away some paint for a tack weld. I believe I should have enough clearance for a small tack since the master cylinder has voids.

Depends on if the taaack weld you lay on there matches or has a smaller radius then the chamfer on the master cylinder. I suggest you get a set or these to make sure.

  2. Now that I am part of normal society again I dont struggle with that quite as much.

In what location is Normal society found? I have yet to find it on google.

I seem to learn best hands on weather then lectures and reading books. If I am showed how it is easier but we all have different ways of learning. Some slower some faster.

Some people know a little bit about a lot of things some people know a lot about very few things. I can’t stand when some people think they know what they are talking about but they are feeding the wrong information to others. For instance my wife’s brother told her mother to keep driving her car down the highway when she seen it smoking(oil leak). As she continued to drive the car got louder and louder then went boom. Neither one of them understand that 4 cycle engines require oil to lubricate the engine.

  3. I have a low profile 4 Ton jack from tractor supply it was great until the swivel joint to raid and lower broke. I did however weld a craftsman swivel socket in to replace that part and works great again.

I have a craftsman jack that is about 35 years old and still going,I keep it around just in case I need it. Not sure how the quality of craftsman is any more seeing as every time I use there tool one of them breaks.

The Napa auto parts by me has some really nice jacks also. If I ever have an issue with mine again I will be getting one from there. The quality seems great compared to everything else.

  4. Alright I want to change fluids in the X5 and I have got to the power steering fluid

In the manual it says CHF 11s

The bottle on the car says ATF oil (assuming dextron III)?

    1 dealer says CHF 11s

Another dealer says ATF oil and it must be plain ATF? Not really sure what that is.

    Napa says CHF 11s

    What fluid goes in?
