Seen this car at the zimbrick Bmw in Madison on the 10th
-
Sorry for the long delay, I ordered it 2 weeks before Christmas.
-
I cut the spinning nut off with a dremel and ground away some paint for a tack weld. I believe I should have enough clearance for a small tack since the master cylinder has voids.
Depends on if the taaack weld you lay on there matches or has a smaller radius then the chamfer on the master cylinder. I suggest you get a set or these to make sure.

It’s amazing they didn’t get bored after that long of going in the same circle

High demand or not that is ridiculous. It is to cold out for that.

Now that I am part of normal society again I dont struggle with that quite as much.
In what location is Normal society found? I have yet to find it on google.
I seem to learn best hands on weather then lectures and reading books. If I am showed how it is easier but we all have different ways of learning. Some slower some faster.
Some people know a little bit about a lot of things some people know a lot about very few things. I can’t stand when some people think they know what they are talking about but they are feeding the wrong information to others. For instance my wife’s brother told her mother to keep driving her car down the highway when she seen it smoking(oil leak). As she continued to drive the car got louder and louder then went boom. Neither one of them understand that 4 cycle engines require oil to lubricate the engine.

Also lives in a respectable home. Make sure you bring all your cash!

Well apparently the gift I purchased is delayed in transit. It is looking like my guy isn’t getting his gift until around January 5th

Got my gift yesterday. Came in a pretty cool tube. The contents of this tube was a pretty awesome print of the M series that have been made over the years and an e30 decal. Will get this up as soon as it flattens out. I have the perfect spot in the office for it.
A big thanks to peter AKA p_roloff

I have a low profile 4 Ton jack from tractor supply it was great until the swivel joint to raid and lower broke. I did however weld a craftsman swivel socket in to replace that part and works great again.
I have a craftsman jack that is about 35 years old and still going,I keep it around just in case I need it. Not sure how the quality of craftsman is any more seeing as every time I use there tool one of them breaks.
The Napa auto parts by me has some really nice jacks also. If I ever have an issue with mine again I will be getting one from there. The quality seems great compared to everything else.

Does someone care to make a "12 days of WIBimmers" song? Im lazy.
It would probably be a pretty depressing song. I fear The song would be about losing compression braking transmissions and 24 valve swaps.

My wife sent me this picture when I was on my way to the dmv. Some of you may find this funny

What is the cost on said services? Does it come with a guaranteed compression loss? What does the shoulder look like, you did not post a picture ? You could potentially make a killing renting it out to all Bmw owners.

If the car took ATF fluid and I flushed it out with chf11s would that be a potential problem?
-
Alright concours bmw milwaukee has told me no adaptive drive and does not know what fluid. Fluid in the bottle is yellowish brown tinted
-
The cap is black and does not say anything
-
Alright I want to change fluids in the X5 and I have got to the power steering fluid
In the manual it says CHF 11s
The bottle on the car says ATF oil (assuming dextron III)?
1 dealer says CHF 11s
Another dealer says ATF oil and it must be plain ATF? Not really sure what that is.
Napa says CHF 11s
What fluid goes in?
