I sold it to Jenny Morgan. Is that who you got yours from?
I got it from Kummrow Automotive as a roller, though it's possible it changed hands a few times as I guess it was sitting in their lot for a while

That is a fantastic idea! Could apply to just about any car where you want to keep the trunk carpet too

Not to brag or anything, but I have all the cam tools and vanos seal stuff

Does anyone have any suggestions for making the horn button work on the aftermarket settering wheel? There's one wire that comes into the hub, and if I ground that out on the steering wheel, the horns engage their horning. The button has two spades, so obviously I need to ground one of them. Any suggestions on how to ground that within the steering wheel?
Momo makes this horn button retainer plate thing (here is one example, have no experience with this specific part though: https://www.ebay.com/itm/121532035439) that has a grounding point on it. I believe it connects the ground through the steering column like the OEM horn buttons. This is what I did on my car with some modification to the ring as I'm using a raid steering wheel (though I am using a momo wheel hub) and it works perfectly. Wired like this:

I think Euro weaves were the only ones that came in 15"? Or did IX weaves also come in 15" but they are high offset?
IX weaves are also 15's, just higher offset

This is awesome! A 350hp+ M42 is going to be a riot.

The last month was pretty crazy figuring out this whole lighting biz. But I got caught up on the first wave of orders and had a night to just work on the car.
It's back on the ground. What I've completed up to this point:
- ABS Delete using the Chase Bays brake line kit.
- Chase Bays power steering reservoir and hoses.
- Patch some rust in the engine bay and paint it.
- New water pump, timing belt kit, transmission input shaft seal.
- Ditched the Garagistic DSSR in favor for the IE Motorsports DSSR and oem shift selector joint.
- Rebuilt the HVAC box with all new foam on the flaps and the joints and fixed one of the recirc flaps.
- Redid the body harness going into the engine bay (lights, fan, etc.) with new loom.
What's left:
- Finish putting interior back together and redo the gauge wire harnesses.
- Paint a couple pieces.
- Fluids.
- Odds and ends.
My printers hard at work.
These lighting adapters have been a lot of fun and really cool to see all of the reactions to them. I'm trying really hard to make them look and feel just as good as they do function.
Dang you went all in on the print farm! That light output/cutoff looks super nice.

Ever wondered what a euro e36 m3 swapped Land Rover Discovery looked like drifting a corner in a hill climb? Now you know:

This is going to look SO good, I can't wait. Must've been a bit scary milling on those centers!

can't see the pics for some reason, but it was me— glad you like the goods!
Thanks!!
I think I fixed the photos, let me know if that works now.

If it works, is in good shape, and isn't in your way it might be worth keeping, apparently the stock ABS is pretty good and non-intrusive when working properly. I got rid of mine a few years ago (removed pump/lines/etc. completely, still need to strip the wiring from the harness) because it only worked intermittently and then the pump got smacked by a deer and mangled all the lines going to and from it. My experience is exactly what @KaiserRolls said. I've locked up wheels in auto-x and my excuse is the RA motorplex super slick surface, but mostly it's from being a caveman. On the street it has been a non-issue, just need to keep it in mind. I put in a Wilwood adjustable bias dealio in the same location as the stock bias valve but didn't make it remotely adjustable and regret that immensely as I can barely reach it. I am fairly certain the stock ABS system does not do any biasing so you could definitely just keep the stock valve to simplify things.

That looks really nice! The wood grain continuing through the pattern is a nice touch

I'm very behind on this, but I opened my gift this morning! It got here around Christmas, but I had a family emergency that popped up shortly afterwards and the dust is finally settling. It didn't have a name on it, but thank you to whoever was my Santa!! It's a sweet IMSA poster and some BMW CCA cars and coffee magnets! I'll be getting a frame for the poster and the magnets are already on the fridge!

I placed an order for a Prusa MK3S+ kit, hopefully it doesn't take months to get here. I'm excited.

waiting on one more thing and mine will be on the way out! Hoping very soon!

I think this is going to be a fun project and allow me to make random things for the car or around the house - like chip bag clips and cock rings.
I definitely missed that on the first read through haha

I don't have anything to add but I'm also planning to pick up a printer fairly soon as I keep finding more and more uses for one. I have free-reign of the printers at my work but it would be really nice to have my own as those are almost constantly in use. I would be very interested to hear what people use for free or 'low cost' CAD options.

The z3m roadster and coupe are mechanically the same, basically a beefed up version of the 318ti. Front suspension is e36m, rear suspension is similar to an e30 but with e36m rear brakes, much stronger axles, and everything reinforced everywhere.
