REKIII
I know most of you guys here think anything newer than 1978 is seriously uncool. But this rocks in so many different ways: http://performancedrive.com.au/1970s-bmw-e9-cs-gets-e39-m5-v8-conversion-2815/

CMart
How do you consider that pre 1978?
michael1972
Ok now I am confused. It is pre 78' because it's a 1970 but that makes it older then 1978 witch makes the original statement of newer then 1978 incorrect. It is what it is. CMart
He was saying most people don't like old cars. I was saying I don't consider that specific example an 'old car'. That said I think the E9 CS is an absolutely stunning car and would love to pick one up. They won't be getting any cheaper. Ok now I am confused. It is pre 78' because it's a 1970 but that makes it older then 1978 witch makes the original statement of newer then 1978 incorrect. It is what it is. CMart
Nope. Thought about it, but it's mint and I don't want someone running into it. I was thinking about using the 4x4 F250, but I may be traveling for work. Hey Cmart you going to bring the CTS-V to the GLD thing this spring? REKIII
No, you misread my first sentence. I feel most of the people here don't like new cars, 79+ being considered new. So I posted a car that was definitely not new, but it had a new(er) drivetrain which I personally adore. Oh, and lol.
REKIII
And, now I like it more: http://www.bimmer-mag.com/issues/116/articles/frankenclassic?page=1#.VMrMwPldV8E
HipMF
I wasn't against it until I saw the dashboard. The rounded plastic interiors of the 90s are one of the worst automotive legacies that decade left behind IMO. I've always been a fan of clean, minimalist design though, so I'm a little biased.
