  1. I’m running under the assumption I’m not getting the first thing I ordered - So ordered something else as a “CYA” just in case.  Praying either gets here before Christmas now or one of you bastards is getting a lump of dog coal and a “me soo sorry” note in your mailbox!

Why did you bump this emoji848.pngemoji16.png

I clicked expecting progress, leaving disappointed

Next time plan for disappointment, that way anything besides a bump will be really noteworthy. 😂

Im still alive, just had a busy winter of house work/kids/life/etc... starting to make plans for the "next project" on this car.  More to come as I start acquiring parts...

What is this I'm seeing about a cash payout? Do the first 5 people to go around the lake really get paid?

You've never done a Poker Run?  It's a non-timed event with 5 stops, at each stop you get a random playing card.  Whoever has the best poker hand at the end wins.  I've done them before and always had fun - plus I'm sure there will be a good after party somewhere in Oshkosh.

poker style run = not timed, random winners.

Also, what is this 'rallye' crap. This is Wisconsin, not the south of France.

"Winnebago Rally" - that sounds fun.

"Rallye Winnebago" - that sounds like you need to wear boat shoes and driving gloves.

Winnebago Rally sounds like a mullet toting RV race by a bunch of dudes in Canadian tuxedos....

Depending on weather driving gloves might not be a bad idea. 😂

  5. Two part question:

-While I'm trying to sort through this dying battery issue, I'm planning to disconnect battery when car is not in use.  Does it matter which terminal I pull off - and why?

-Any suggestions on tracking down a parasitic draw while the car is parked?  No idea how to go about finding whatever is draining down my battery.

Background: Every time I park my car for a extended period of time, the battery goes dead. I can throw it on my charger which has a start feature, and it will start no issue and drive no issue.  If I drive it the very next day it seems to retain enough battery to start again, but if I leave the car for an extended period of time like a week or so it is dead.   I have a trickle charger that I normally throw on the battery when the car is not in use, but for whatever reason that does not seem to be doing any good anymore. I'm not sure if I can test the trickle charger to make sure it's working?   I would rather just try to track down whatever is killing the battery.

  6. I don't really have a "max" to spend - but would like to keep it around $20k just for monthly payments sake.

4x4 would be a plus for hunting - but not a "need".  No tow plans except the occasional small trailer or car dolly.  Could maybe see trailering the E30 if I ever wanted to go to a big show on the East coast or such.

  7. Side Note: I'm not opposed to bigger trucks (F150, Ram, Etc...) - my concerns with them are cost and mileage.  If there's a "bigger truck" that fits the bill, by all means LMK.

Im also not brand loyal or too caught up on esthetics - I can make pretty much anything look good with some elbow grease.
