I will be more specific, is there any preventative maintenance items I should take care of before the single digits hit and the snow fly’s.
It has 104,000 miles and Is the 3.0L

It's an x5. Just open your wallet and wait for shit to fail! If it's a 35i then there's a good chance you'll do a water pump eventually. So now the question is, is there anything I should take care of before it goes wrong on it?I expect that with every Bmw made already

Very nice! Those X5's are great. I6 or V8?
Ended up getting the I6 since it gets a little better mileage. It will be doing more highway driving and grocery runs (family car)

Nice interior!
Thanks! It was one of my favorite color combinations.

Post a video of a burnout so we can see if the repair was done properly

I have always loved how the front end of these cars just comes right off to work on things
-
Damn that suck glad everyone is ok, I can stand drivers that make stupid choices like that.
On the other note I have wondered what happens to some of the shipments I receive from Sutton.....
-
What are you using for a motor again? Nice fab work by the way

I used this
However there is no provision for the small vac line that runs from the valve cover PCV to that clip (as we know in stock config there is a nipple there for it)
Now that is cool, wish I would have known about this 5 years ago.

One summer of driving would be amazing
I’d 2nd that!
I don’t think I have ever replaced my ICV hose probably the same one it came with. I did how ever have an issue with the fitting in the back of the intake popping out, falling off, or whatever decided to keep happening. I did however solve this issue with an epoxy called plastic bond.

I felt I needed to share this. I ordered some parts to be cut from A36 plate. It normally is pretty smooth.
Well they got me the plate..... looks to me like they may have dragged it behind the truck all the way here. Some of the dents are .05” deep!!

Well I figure so but I can’t even get rid of mine with 180kmiles for $11k
-
Yup the full race hauler will cost almost the same as a excursion and trailer haha. There are two 300k mile 7.3l Excursions in madison for $18k plus another $4-6 for a nice trailer.
18k and 300k miles?? Jesus!
-
No idea, not mine lol. I just saw it at the last autox and it confirmed my beliefs that I need oneWhere did you get the rack on the top of the excursion?Lol my bad miss read this. I have a diesel excursion for you.
