Yeah, it doesn't scream like the old v-8 but once aftermarkets/straight pipes get added it might sound decent. Especially with some turbo spool in the mix. Whats your opinion? patsbimmer1 Posted July 18, 2014 Report Share Posted July 18, 2014 All I had heard before actually hearing the exhaust were people just slamming BMW for using the exhaust synth in-car. Lots of pops and blips. Throttle response is stupid fast and turbo lag is non-existent. I agree the idea of the engine synthesizers is lame but in practice its nothing to scoff at, the exhaust noises make up for everything.
