Guest Laishes
Hello everyone, My name is Andrew Laishes. Just went to my first WIbimmers meet on Saturday the 22nd and figured I would make an intro post on here. I recently (last tuesday) sold my honda civic and picked up an e39 BMW 540i 6 speed (last thursday) with just over 125k miles. I have lived in Madison all my life so I know the area well; hoping to meet more members, attend more events, and get further involved into the WIbimmers community. Enough talk; here's what she looks like as it sits.
Guest Laishes
Just a stock e39! Nothing too impressive but hopefully my ownership will make the car look and sound better and better.

Guest Laishes
Thanks; yeah I believe I got a good deal on it; looks like the previous owner took care of cooling issues aswell. (replaced radiator, stainless steel braided coolant lines).

Ryan...
Welcome! The 540i/6 is the 2nd car I wish I'd have never sold.
Guest Laishes
Thanks! Yeah I absolutely love the car thus far; my only complaint is ... well.... not a very big one... but.... the cupholders are kinda small for my big American beverages. 240sxguy
Your wheels look much nicer though. Mine have clearcoat peeling and they're dirty! My clear on the lips isn't looking so good. I might take them apart and fix that this winter. They're not bad enough where the aluminum is hopelessly damaged (yet).
240sxguy
Thanks! Yeah I absolutely love the car thus far; my only complaint is ... well.... not a very big one... but.... the cupholders are kinda small for my big American beverages. They'll be broken before you know it, don't worry.
Guest Laishes
Well I'm planning on putting in different cupholders eventually. I just don't want it to look cheap; so we'll see.

Guest Laishes
I'd preferably like to keep the small little storage area if I can so I'll see how these turn out; I'll order them today
