If you are interested at all, I have an e39 530i that I would like to sell whole. Downsides are an automatic trans and the engine has a knock (PO hydrolocked it). I bought it with plans to fix it and flip it, but I don't have the time. It will run and drive as is. I understand it's not really ideal, but please PM me if you would be interested.

Silver e39 is me, Snap. Also rarely post, but lurk and show up to a few meets here and there.

Not sure if it's anyone on here or not.

lol.ALL Fridays Matterthanks for posting this guys.
I was hoping theretrofitsource.com or DDM tuning would do some deals on HID stuff and bi-xenon retrofit parts, but I have yet to see an ad.
I got this email from DDM tuning today. Not much of a sale though - they may do something better on Friday yet.

3M G14 gets my vote also

Groms are quite fun. A friend of mine has one and has let me drive it. I don't know if I would want it as my only bike (not great for longer trips), but I wouldn't mind having one. My current bike is a BMW G650 XCountry that I picked up earlier this year. So far it is exactly what I was hoping it would be. Plenty of power and still light and nimble.

Of course the one day I won't make it lol
Tried to help out. I also can't make it the 30th.

He must have driven it a little too hard... My co-worker saw him stopped at the gas station in town this morning with a few Ferrari's. All were on the ground and driving at that time.

Saw this on the side of the road near Omro yesterday. 60k miles. Paint looks like a respray but its a pretty clean car overall. One spot of rust on each driver side door, and some paint flaking on the sunroof and edge of the hood near the windshield. Tires are completely dry cracked. Didn't call to get any more info since I'm not really interested.

^^ this is correct.
For reference, the e36 M3 shifter is perfect for the e39 540i in my opinion. It made a huge difference in short crisp shifts without too short of a throw or too much effort.

Also curious on the details of the car. What would the asking price be without wheels?

I have a Bluetooth adapter and Torque app on an old phone mounted to the dash so that I don't have to take it out. I hardwired a charger and routed the wire to come out of the corner of the dash to power it. Total cost including the mount, charger, adapter, and app was $30.

My dad sold the white M3 with the cardinal interior to Bill (current owner) many years ago. I was rather upset when I found out a couple years ago.

Just looked at mine yesterday while I was putting the engine back in the car. The cable comes from the passenger side floor, runs along the subframe, Y's off at the starter, continues along the subframe to the driver's side, and snakes up to the alternator inside of the exhaust. Hope that helps. Sorry, I couldn't get a decent picture.

If it is a TUB engine, they are used for air/fuel I believe. The early models do not use them for anything other than cat monitoring, as Snap said.

Welcome! I also work in Grafton so I'm sure I will be seeing you around. If you see a rusty, blue e34 or a silver e39 (when I get it back on the road) it would be me.

Saw a white 135i with blacked out badges and what appeared to be a carbon fiber front lip yesterday around 5pm in Jackson. Sounded pretty good too.

He is still powder coating. I have talked to him recently and he just ordered some more powder, and has been doing a few runs here and there. He does not have the large oven completed yet, so still only smaller parts.

On eBay, but maybe? It seems a little too narrow at 4.5" and probably too long but figured it wouldn't hurt to show you

Would be a nice little (huge) project.

One of my current projects. Full restoration of a 1960's Honda S90. Have everything for it, just taking my time to do it right.

No problem! Just figured I'd throw it out there.
Edit: Tried quoting your post to reply to it, won't work for whatever reason.
