Valve cover in the front seat is a good sign the body looks clean from the pics.

There is no such thing as "super good ones", coated ones are a waste of money and have no benefit, come to think of it I have only heard negatives lol.
If you wanted to you could replace them with oem ones.
A piston ring is pretty much a piston ring, there are no rings made for boost or NA
I wouldn't mess with the crank, they have harmonic issues at high rpms as is, can't imagine lightening it would be better.
Solid lifters cost a lot and require grinding of shim caps to set lash.
How high do you want it to rev? High RPM's is where it's harmonic issues will really start to shine, and you will need to purchase an aftermarket vibration damper (~$850)
Food for thought.

I would think you will want new rings, they seat to the cylinder walls during break in and this happened in a different block. Might have increased oil usage, no need to build it twice and pay for 2 sets of gaskets, head bolts, main cap bolts etc.

Welcome.
Getting more angle shouldn't be much of a problem. You can run e46 control arms and some rack spacers. E46 330 brakes are a budget big brake swap. The dual caliper idea seems like a bit overkill. Plumbing a hydraulic hand brake inline would be more cost effective and would work just fine to start with. There are a good chunk of e36 "budget" drift builds that you could look into and take ideas from.
