  1. She's alive! But of course where there's ups, there's downs. After firing it up, i noticed a huge fuel leak up in engine bay. I shut it down immediately. Garage floor is covered in fuel and the garage smells horrible. I will need another set of eyes to determine where the leak is. For now I have oil dri on the floor and a box fan running. I will let it dry out/evaporate and hopefully the fumes go away too. Then I will diagnose the leak tonight or tomorrow.

  2. Lurkers, non-posters, and infrequent posters of WIBIMMERS: I challenge you to a challenge:

Log in and post something in this thread.

Some of us like lurking........ I think I am on here 20 times a day from tapa talk and barley posts anything anymore. Not really sure why I'm not very active anymore.

  3. If all goes well I should be back in an e30 sedan this weekend [emoji4]

Suspension is all sorts of odd mix-n-matched stuff (Honda springs, Cadillac shocks in the rear), and he said it has a super-eta bottom with a 2.5 head, unknown cam and it has a "lumpy idle" but it looks hella clean rust wise. I figure suspension is easy enough to replace with e30 stuff, and as long as the motor runs I can take care of any issues that arise.

    Run it!

  4. Attempt number 6382:

    Started torquing intake cam.

    Stripped a thread.

    (Serenity now!)

    Didn't rage.

    Repaired stripped thread.

    Started torquing cam again and....

    1 cam successfully torqued!!!!
