Rad! What are the specs on those Fitti's?

The original specs are 17x10 et65ish. They were for a corvette the hub bore is in the 60's. I had a buddy bore them out to 72.56 so now I just need to rebuild/refinish them

  2. I dropped the rear end out of the car a month and a half ago with intent of putting new bushings in, put in toe correction brackets, swapping the diff to an open 3.38, and welding in reinforcement plates. Turns out when my brother started to weld the plates in he noticed a crack on the driver side rear mount. IMG_4259.JPG

Got everything fixed and plates welded on now.

Seeing how I can get things powder coated matte black for free at work.  I sent the trailing arms, subframe, upper control arms, and the subframe crossmember through the paint line. I ordered revshift poly subframe, trailing arm, and diff bushings. The rest of the bushings I purchased oe replacement parts.

Put the rear end back in this past Sunday night. It's pretty much all back together besides some interior bits and such.

Also I picked up some wheels from Jory. Some 17" oz fittistars. They will be rebuilt and refinished before they go on. IMG_4127.PNG

  3. It's getting to that time of year for us to get this going. It's September 24th planning on leaving Kewaskum around 2 pm for the cruise. The cruise consists of going from the meet up spot in Kewaskum to the cemetery then after the cemetery cruise the kettles then head to my house afterwards for food/ a fire at sundown. Would love to see some turnout from you guys!

THE PLAN IS TO LEAVE FROM COFFEE CORNER IN KEWASKUM AT 2PM
Well friends its time once again to remember our friend Travis Born. As many of you know this has been a tradition every year to get together and celebrate some of the things Travis loved; Friends, cars, and good times. We will be starting the cruise at the Coffee Corner parking lot in Kewaskum.
After the cruise we will have a bonfire at Cole Oestreich and Nick Volm's house to continue the good times!
This event is all about hanging out with old friends and meeting new ones, so bring your friends!
We ask that when we meet at the Coffee Corner that EVERYONE is respectful so we won't get hassled by law enforcement!
If you can't make it to the cruise but you still want to come to the bonfire bash the address for the house is 180 S Barton Rd Campbellsport. It's the same place we ended the cruise last year for anyone that was there last year!
Also we would greatly appreciate that if everyone could bring food or drinks for the bonfire bash. Food meaning hamburgers, buns, chips, macaroni salad, etc. We will get a list together once we get closer to the event!

  4. Well the winter has come and gone.  I got what I could done on this thing but not all was completed.

For those that seen the mishimoto expansion tank I warn that there are fitment issues with it. The top radiator hose being one that I encountered. The other issue I had was an installer rookie mistake.

But here's a couple pictures of it now.

Was the guy from West Bend? I swear Ive seen that caf around. Is he just putting it back to stock to sell it?

The dude that used to have its name is Matt Hayes. I seen it a few times as well. It had a rad-fab sticker on it so I asked tanner.

  6. For people that are going and that are taking the cruise down Friday morning. Kieran aka longballrally is getting everything setup for Chicago south for the cruise. If he has enough interest he is going to have shirts and stickers printed for $20-$25. I know in the past any profit from this he donated to charity. I would think it would be the same with this as well!

    Why an e60 shift lever?

I was originally looking at getting a z4 lever. I did a little reading about them and people were saying that is was notchy feeling going into gears and that you would have to bend the shear rod on sedans so the lever doesn't hit the dash. I didn't want to bend a new dssr to not like how it shifted. And the e60 shift lever has a shorter throw than the stock 330i lever

  8. Since my last post I got some more work done. I installed the M3 steering wheel, re-setup the management board for my air ride, rebuilt the disa valve with the German auto solutions kit, stained the wood for my trunk setup (finally), and installed a new csf aluminum radiator. I recently ordered the E60 shift lever, uuc dssr, and mishimoto aluminum expansion tank. I have a few more things to order but I should have plenty of time to drive it before I make the trip down for The Euro District.

  9. I could use a hail storm right about now

Haha. It was a bit of messing around with the insurance company to get a check for me.

Is that a csl trunk? It's hard to tell in the picture.

    Yes it is!

  10. Over the past summer my car was sitting outside in a hail storm and had hail damage on the roof, hood, and trunk lid. And I got these with most of the insurance money. Can't wait to put them on.

  11. So my car has been put away for winter already. I have the starting of my to do list.

    2015-16 winter to do:

    Refinish wheels

    Cooling system

    Disa valve

    Brake booster

    Timing chain tensioner/guides

    Exhaust

    Redo air management wiring

Rewrap head liner and a, b, and c pillars

    Roof pdr

    Order new compressors

    Hard line setup

    If time is available:

    Differential

There is a few more thing as well but I can't think of them at the moment though.
